This review is for the food that they served at the 2nd Ave Street fair in the East Village. The jerk chicken is delicious and they put it in a nice barbecue sauce. However, the curry goat was wayyy too salty to the point that it was inedible. I told the cook about it and asked him what to do, and he told me throw it away. I am cheap and am loath to throw away food, but I threw the whole $20 dish away. I have never done this in my life. The food wasn't even decent enough to give away to someone who is hungry. Also, the rice was not tasty at all and was hard and pebbly. I know it must be hard to serve good food at street fairs, but I was so disappointed.

Extremely disappointed considering the price.$30 for a "large" oxtail... the meat was so little I would hate to see a small. They were far from tinder. Mostly BONE.The Mac and cheese was very peculiar not much cheese/ flavor very processed.Just a bit sad I wasted that amount of money. Especially after I saw the small wasn’t much smaller.No oxtail gravy at allUpdate after owner response:The response was quite interesting and unfortunate. Not just to me but others. More or less gravy really does not account for poor preparation (toughness) the Mac and cheese, seasoning or for the prices.As for claiming the sizes are generous for the price, I get oxtail weekly and would have to STRONGLY disagree. From the reviews I can see others agree that the meal is not worth the price.Lastly I see others have similar complaints it’s unfortunate instead of this being acknowledged by owner it’s refuted/argued and pushed aside.

I ordered uber eats. Ordered the buy one get one jerk chicken with 2 side white rice and Mac & cheese and payed for side of plantains.they did not put my plantains in the bag. The jerk chicken was good but more bone than meat. The sauce was good but had to much something in it not sure. Rice good. Mac & cheese was treacherous .who's makes Mac & cheese with bow tie and elbow pasta. It was bland no salt nothing. You basically taste just pasta. You would think they would have fixed this issue seeing that I'm not the only one that feels this way

Jamaican food? Not at all and far from it !! I bought a large curry goat meal with white rice and mac and cheese and the food was TASTELESS!! The rice was mushy, the curry goat was tasteless and not cooked properly & the mac & cheese was bland, mushy & overall horrible! Do not eat here !

I placed an order for 5O people a week before our seminar luncheon. I ordered through ezcater. The delivery was supposed to be for 11:30am. I received our food at 1:15pm. I called directly to the restaurant at 11:45 and asked if the food was on its way, she said they were running a bit behind and that my order would get here at 12pm. I repeat I had to call them to find out the status of my order. No one reached out to me. You’re supposed to call your customer and let them know when you should expect your order. Bad customer service all around. Still no food. I called the restaurant again and again, I called over 10 times and it went straight to voicemail. How unprofessional. So I had no choice but to call ezcater to find out where my order is. They tell me it’s on its way by now it’s 12:30, an hour later, still no food. I called back to ezcater and they tell me it’s going to be another 15 minute, by now it’s 1:00pm. We are talking a full hour and a half late for a meeting with 50!people hungry. Once the food finally arrived, it was cold and terrible. The potato salad was frozen. The steamed cabbage was not steamed/cooked enough. Very Bland taste. The only thing that had some taste to it was the curry shrimp. Good thing I got a full refund. $1500. So disappointing. Never again. If you had too many orders out of your control, you should let them know. I called several times prior to make sure this order is good to go. If this order was too large for you your restaurant to handle let folks now ahead of time. I placed this order last Wednesday. I could have ordered from another place. Don’t use excuses about out of your control. An hour and 30 minutes late is ridiculous. I always try my best to patronize black owned restaurants, in this case yall took it too far.

The menu says $25 dollars for a large and she ended up charging me $30 and said the priced changed it was $28 dollars for a large plus tax. For $30 you would expect more .The oxtails were tender, the Rasta pasta just tasted like bland noodles with undercooked veggies and Alfredo sauce. Not worth the money will never go back!

Nastiest Jamaican food ever, don’t order oxtail. Very tough and fatty.Edit- I’m not a repeat customer don’t try to trick the crowd. First time, bad experience. You guys cant be jamaican. I’ve never had oxtail that bad.
