We were charged $430 for another tables tab. Me and my wife just came in for cocktails. Took forever to figure it out. Cocktails didn’t even finish half of them, as they were not good. Would not recommend.

We enjoyed the decor at this cute west village date spot. Having lived in the area for almost a decade, I would say you can definitely do better. The risotto was more of an overly salted soup, the radish appetizer was as bland as it comes, the steak was far too fatty, and the sauce on the chicken was mediocre at best. For a 300+ price tag we expected a lot more :(

Justine's is beautiful inside and out. The staff are great. The food is not as good as you want it to be. And you really want it to be because it's such a pretty place to return to. We'll give it another chance.

I came here for dinner on a Thursday night, and it was a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Freddy, had a personal touch that transformed our dining experience into one of warmth and recognition, ensuring we felt exclusively attended to.The culinary highlight, among others, was the innovative ceviche, a mix of nicely tangy grapes and spicy peppers, as well as the creamykale risotto. These two dishes really captured the spirit of the restaurant's innovative and carefully crafted menu with a commitment to freshness, creativity, and harmony of flavors. The sommelier's role in enhancing the dining experience cannot be overstated. With a keen eye for unique and interesting wines, the sommelier had a perfect mix vintage and varietals selections. This place has an incredible selection of wine bottles, definitely recommend trying at least one during your visit.Definitely an exciting new restaurant in the city, and one that takes its food and wine selection seriously. Excellent work by the whole staff, will definitely visit again.

I'll say that the food was excellent but I wished the salad leaves were cut up. Wrestling to eat my salad is never fun. The short ribs were yummmm. Service was excellent. The wine was disappointing but I am notoriously hard to please. I would have given this place 4 stars but the prices..... ouch!

Really inventive menu that takes some staples to the next level. Very intimate setting but kind of cramped. That’s west village I guess. I recommend. The duck was great.

The best date spot. Food is always on point. Wine is exceptional. And I don’t usually eat desserts but I always do when I’m at Justine’s!

If you are looking for a seriously indulgent dinner complemented with outstanding wine pairings in an elegant, , relaxing atmosphere, Justine's is the place to go. My husband and I went on NYE with a 5-course prix fixe menu and I have to admit we were scoping out pizza places nearby in case we were hungry after. This was beyond unnecessary because the food at Justine's is absolutely delicious and the serving sizes were exceptionally generous. We chose to sit at the bar to see the action in the kitchen and it was exceptionally comfortable. The host and servers were all lovely and helpful with menu questions and suggested wine pairings. We tried almost every item on the menu and everything was delicious. I had the Sunchoke Soup, Bea Spaghetti and Braised Short Rib and they were all outstanding. The spaghetti was up there with any pasta I've had in Italy or top Italian spots in NYC. I was absolutely stuffed by the time the short ribs came but that dish was so delicious I had to finish it! I'm a huge dessert fan but I was so full from the other courses that I don't know if I gave the desserts a fair shot. The Butter Maman was super rich, and I might really enjoy it with an afternoon coffee or a lighter meal. It was very heavy without saving room for dessert. The Cashew Sansrival was a little funky and I wouldn't order it again. I was curious to try the parm ice cream but it was a little too far outside the standard dessert flavor relam for my taste. For wines I started with the Blanc de Blancs, which was worth the splurge for a true champagne. The Beaujolais recommended by my server as a less pricy option paired beautifully with the short rib. I will definitely visit again with zero worries of leaving hungry even with two courses.

Justine's On Hudson is a crowd pleasing Wine Bistro in the West Village. Atmospherically, it features a walnut bar & associated brass foot rail (as in cowboy saloons) velvet banquettes & a Murano chandelier.....the ambience embraces a blend of modern & classic. The menu is seasonally driven expressing French and Filipino influences with food finds like seabass carpaccio and beef tartare. The wine cache is renowned and the wine menu is designed to educate in the art of pairing for your meal (that's me... not a wine aficionado) while the staff is only too happy to help with such a task. On recommendation, I selected a white wine variant with my bone-in pork chop (after a cucumber carpaccio).........so good.....and I couldn't pass on the Affogato.....toasted ice cream with espresso........a simply delicious Italian sweet. Looking for a memorable dinning experience, Justine's is a terrific melange of atmosphere, wine and food.

Amazing food, ambience and service — Freddy is the best! One of the best wine lists, also. Can’t wait to go back again!

We took a chance at this place we had literally walked out of 4 other places in the neighborhood due to rudeness and over crowding. This was an absolute Gem! Everything from how we we’re welcomed in to the atmosphere service and food was over the top unique fresh and delicious. We will definitely return. My husband said just a matter of time till this place is one you can get in.
