fair prices which is super rare for nyc sushi ($34 for 6 hand rolls) i love no tipping <3we came at 8pm on a tuesday and the wait was like 30min. the line moved pretty quicklyamazingggg ambiance (all bar seating, my fave kind of seating) and the service is really good. there was a lottttt of hype around this place and while idk if i can say it lived up to the hype, i would def come again

we did the five piece hand roll set ($29) and sea bass sashimi ($9.75). it was delicious and we were full afterwards. we were thinking about doing the six piece but the hand rolls looked quite big.my favorite was the scallop, lobster, and yellowtail hand roll. my husband’s was the scallop and yellowtail. they were all so good and would definitely recommend this spot as an alternative and cheaper spot to omakase. also, it’s a no tipping establishment. it’s a similar experience where each course is served one by one, it’s high quality, and fun.we came at 6:15pm on a friday and waited about 20-30min. by the time we left, the line was pretty long outside.

Luckily I didn’t get a long line and I could wait as long as needed because the food is delicious and the service is great! The beer is great… cold as should be!

I was very sick about an hour after the meal and threw everything up. I think the mackerel roll smelled off and I probably shouldn't have eaten it.

Food is ok, nothing special at all. Decent simple rolls. The wait is quite long and honestly the food is not really worth it.Atmosphere is enjoyable. They don’t take Apple Pay or any other contactless payments!! If coming from Europe (London) where everything you need is your phone, think twice. My husband had to run to the hotel so we can pay the bill.Overall 3 stars, wouldn’t come again.

This place is great. I came at 3 p.m. and waited in line for about 10 minutes. It was a new experience for me. Hand rolls here start at 18$. For me, an order of 6 hand rolls was just right. The service staff here are cute and friendly. They use good, clean, fresh ingredients. I like it

The rolls were pretty good, but the counter seats were uncomfortable and we felt very rushed through our meal.

If you love hand rolls you have to visit this place! Full many of different types of hand rolls that freshly made one by one. There are no tables only huge bar. They do serve soft drinks, beers and sake.To get there you will have to wait in line , they don’t take any reservations. They do have couple options to choose from, last time I ordered 5 for $29 and it was great choice. Fresh fish, warm rice and crispy nori. Will definitely Come back again and again.Felt a little bit rush after my 3rd rolls, chef was making them one by one but I didn’t have time to finish previous yet and new one was coming out to soon.

The original hand roll bar for people who love the hand roll! I’ve been eating here many times and never had any disappointment. All the hand rolls are fresh made one by one and so many options to choose for your own favorite. I always go for 6 hand rolls set and + 2 daily special ( Ankimo sashimi, Salmon sashimi) the service here was fast but never felt rushed so you can take your time as much as you want until you finish your rolls. And it’s always a long line from inside to outside please consider and mind your seating times especially in winter.

Huge Kazu Nori fan! Perfect spot for a quick bite with a friend or even alone. The service is very quick once you are seated (usually wait time is nor bad) and the handrolls are delicious. My favorite is the 6 piece menu. Scallop is the best one. Keep in mind that it is a no tipping establishment so the prices are pretty affordable for the quality of food (37 for 6p). I often come here by myself for a quick bite- makes a lovely solo date!
