Don't really know what the rave was about, there is always a line but it moved very quick. Ordered 3 slices and waiting about 20 mins altogether. The pizzeria is certainly packed and almost a bit hectic. More customers than chairs but people move in and out fairly quickly. Not like your regular pizza shop. The pizza it self was thin and crispy, no flop or sag when you pick it up. Maybe because it's thin it's easily burned? The Margherita wasn't really that special, didn't feel it had enough cheese, the burned taste almost ruined the flavor. The Fig Jam and Bacon slice was quite good and the savior of the meal. Perfectly balanced between sweet and saltiness. Worth definitely trying, but wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Certainly did not live up to the clout.

This is the best pizza in NYC. I've tried a few places but we keep coming back to L'industrie every time.. this is a must for anyone looking to try New York pizza

It is very good but not worth going out of your way to obtain. Worth trying once if possible. We drove from Jersey, paid the toll, and waited 40 minutes for a margherita pie. We ate two slices freshly served, and they had a nice crispy bottom and balance of sauce. It was lacking a bit of salt for me. We ate another microwaved slice at home, and it tasted no different than any other Jersey pizza. Please note it takes at least 40 minutes to prepare from the time of placing a takeout order.

Just checked out new location. There was a line but it moved pretty fast waited about 20-30 mins. Everyone was raving about it so wanted to check it out. The slices were big so don't think I needed two slices. Got the tartufo and burrata slices. Burrata was definitely better than other. The second was very dry and oily. I would say the dough was too burnt and thin for my liking. There is some standing seats inside.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We had the spicy salami, L’Industrie slice which was prosciutto and burrata, and the tartufo mushroom slice. Perfectly crispy and perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. Fantastic tiramisu as well. It gets super busy but everything moves quickly. Highly highly recommend.

Totally worth the wait (and I only waited about 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon). I had the L'industrie slice and regret not getting the fig/bacon slice also. The dough is super thin, absolute perfection. Perfect sauce to match. This place runs like a well-oiled machine with an efficient order taking process which included an employee answering questions while we waited on line to make sure things run efficiently once it's your turn to order. This place is true to the hype. P. S. the bombolini, wow! As fresh as can be, generously filled with deposits cream - do not skip it.

Delicious pizza! It's thin and crispy and the burrata is very high quality. It's a well run operation. Only downside is the hoards of people. A loud, hectic, but delicious experience.

Showed up 1 minute before opening and the line was already down the block. From getting in line to getting our food, it was about 30-35 minutes. They make quick work of getting the orders in. Save yourself $1.50 if you don’t need a 2-go box - but idk where you’re gonna eat it if not on the go. Place stays packed with folks waiting for food. Next to no chance of eating inside.Pizza was good, but not life changing.Parking: Paid street parking only.Kid-friendliness: Your kids will be so bored waiting in line and then get upset when there is no where to sit.

Debated 4.5 but bumped it up to 5.. got here on a Saturday afternoon and line moved quickly... maybe about 20-25 minutes total time until we got our pizzas. Tried burrata and regular cheese- both delicious. I will be back to try more flavors!! Inside was a bit crowded
