Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking for a delicious dining experience, I heartedly recommend indulging in the culinary delights that La Esquina has to offer. Prepare to be dazzled, delighted, and undoubtedly planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal. Best regards to the Bartender Nicolas, best margaritas in town.

Great food, great service. Everything comes out quick and super fresh. I really love the sound system here too. Whoever is putting together the playlist is doing an impeccable job.

Enchiladas de Mole and Tortilla Soup (star of the show) were fantastic. Coming back to try the margaritas. Beautiful inside and great service.

Good food, fun place and a good lunch stop. Very kid friendly if kids like Tex Mex. Tried Quesadillas with huitlacoche, a Mexican mushroom, totally yummy. Good cauliflower tacos, a few types of tortas and salads. Some vegetarian choices. Bowls with a choice of protein are huge portions!

Small, cozy, and very charming. Coming from Texas, where we are spoiled with some of the best Mexican food outside of Mexico, I was so happy to finally find a place in New York that meets the same standards. The staff is attentive and kind, the food presentation lovely, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Pricing is very fair considering the portions and high food quality. Most Mexican restaurants have very large, almost overwhelming menus, but the menu here is small with an excellent array of options to choose from. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

La Esquina uptown didn’t quite hit the mark, earning a humble two stars for a less-than-thrilling experience. Here’s the lowdown:First, the service took its sweet time – a slow dance that left me twiddling my thumbs longer than expected. Now, onto the main event – the food. Unfortunately, it didn’t step into the limelight. The flavors lacked that zing, and the presentation was more of a whisper than a shout.Adding a dash of disappointment, the vibes were a bit off. Not the friendliest atmosphere, making the whole escapade feel a tad lackluster. In a nutshell, La Esquina Uptown, while having its moments, takes a bow with two stars. Here’s hoping for a future encore with a bit more pizzazz in the uptown culinary scene.
These used to be the best tacos in NYC, hands down. Alas, something has gone awry over the past few years. Presumably under new management, the restaurants were redecorated, the menu trimmed down, and the service has slid. The food is still solid, but not a stand out, and not what it was.

Awful!! It’s very poor food. The shrimp taco it’s a shame. I would be embarrassed if I sell this.

Delicious! We got a rice and bean bowl, 3 taco sampler, and guac. It was all very good.

Gross and overpriced, not authentic Mexican food this place is only for gentrifiers. Even the workers act like they don’t know how to speak Spanish (con el nopal en la frente)
