Amazing food. Just simply amazing. Bewitching even. Came here on a Tuesday night (not exactly a going out night) and pretty early too around 6:30 or so. Ordered seafood and the name sake of the restaurant: The Octopus. What arrived was an obscenity of deliciousness. Tentacle was very large with garnish of the Parsnip Puree. It was incredibly soft and tasty. Our server Alejandra was was great and very knowledgeable and made suggestions that were right on point. Guacamole, Lobster Taquitos, Ceviche, my god those were delicious! But the key was the namesake of the restaurant. Octopus was not just delicious it was obscenely so! Cocktails were great even though I don't particularly like them (I think that straight up drink is better). And then to top it all off were the Churros. Best ones I've had since Spain and they were missing the melted chocolate (that might be a great idea). One thing though I didn't count on were the musicians. They just add so much to the ambiance of the place, so if you visit make sure you have some cash on hand. You probably will need it.

We attended a drag brunch and it was a great time! I wasn't a fan of the brunch burger, but the drinks were VERY good and strong! We also ordered the avocado and it was really great. The service was spectacular and they have a very good system. While a bit overpriced, it still wouldn't deter me from coming back. I can't reiterate enough how attentive the staff was and I love the ambiance of the restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. It's right near Times Square and close to theaters. Everything we ordered was delicious and great presentation. We had lobster tacos, paella and the most delicious alfajores for dessert. Happy hour til 7pm during the week with a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Did not rush you at all. Got pretty busy after 6pm on a Friday night. Neighborhood gem!

Right in the theater district. Great spot for a show. Nice atmosphere, although a bit loud. Cheese empanadas were excellent app. Had the Argentinian Parridilla for 2. Enough for three people. Skirt steak and NY sirloin were very good. Ribs ok. Potatoes included were also excellently prepared. Flan as a dessert was a nice touch. The host was super friendly; especially on the way out.

We went to la puparia for pre theater dinner. We ordered from the pre fixe New York Restaurant Week menu. The food we ordered, the Red Endive Salad for a starter was tasty, as were the Murray's Roasted chicken entree and the roasted cauliflower entrée, which had an authoritative pepper sauce. The churros and lava chocolate cake provided a fine ending to a very good meal. Alejandra patiently answered our questions about the menu and offered suggestions. If I had to mention any caveats about our dining experience, after placing our order it took 25 minutes to receive the salads. Regarding the chicken entree, the piece of chicken could have been larger and there were two thin pieces of broccoli rabe. If what that was the standard size of the entree if ordering off the menu, it is overpriced. And, the glass of sangria I ordered as part of pre fixe menu was disappointing as the glass was two thirds filled with ice and one third filled with wine.
