Food is not bad. Not great. Escargot was over broiled. Dick breast was dry & cold. Not fresh. Poire Helen was not poached pear. Food was not authentic French fare. Service was excellent and so was ambience. Staff very friendly.

Went to see a friend in the city and we decided to dine here. The vibe is old French restaurant, been around forever. It's small inside but cozy. The food, let's discuss the food!! First I must say the fresh bread and butter served is excellent! I almost filled up on the bread alone!! So yum. We had a few apps: salad, the seared foie gras, and we decided to take the rabbit special as yet another appetizer. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic and fresh. For main courses the ladies had seared fish, and I had the lamb chops. Everyone was very pleased with their dishes. The server also brought some fresh vegetables including a carrot puree that was just amazing. For dessert we had the pastry puffs filled with fresh creme and the sorbets topped with fresh crème and berries. Oh my oh my. Delightful is the word that comes to mind! No wonder so many locals visit this fine establishment!! Go here. You won't be disappointed.

Just had Easter lunch there with friends. Rude service from this person who might have been the boss of the restaurant. We had waited for a while to be served at our table and simply tried to indicate that we’re ready for our orders to be taken. The guy rudely said some words to us and waved a dismissive hand gesture. My friends and I were shocked. And when our food came he slammed the plates in front of us. I regret taking my friends to the place. Do not recommend it to anyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Restrooms in basement. No elevator

A lovely French bistro that is welcoming and cozy on a cold winters night. The food is authentic and well prepared. The staff is friendly enough. The Cassoulet is the star of the menu. I had the lamb chops last time but was disappointed with how small and too few there were for the price. Normally the dishes are well proportioned and hearty. Interestingly enough this place seems to attract solo diners which I love to see!

3rd visit today in a week to this very friendly little restaurant. Welcoming and professional service. Delicious dishes like this homemade terrine and a great 1/2 Cornish cockerel from today. Excellent dessert also with a hot chocolate fondant.
