I would give La Vera a 5 based on the food. The pizza and salads in my opinion are delicious and hit the spot! The service is what lacks. Only a couple of workers at La Vera are attentive to customers. The remaining staff do not acknowledge customers. When picking up food, there is no organization to: being asked by staff what you want, and ordering it, paying and waiting for your food. The staff do not pay attention to who needs to be served, who is waiting for food, whose orders are ready, etc. La Vera should have a process for taking orders and giving customers' orders that are ready in a more timely and organized process. When getting food delivered: free delivery which is awesome! However, some of the delivery guys seem to have an attitude going up a building and delivering food to your door / are not careful when carrying food upstairs - many times my pizza slices have been moved all around the box because the delivery person is not handling your food carefully (especially pizza that can easily move around in the box). A couple of times, the delivery driver has even called me from downstairs obviously annoyed I wanted them to deliver to my apartment door. Also on multiple deliveries, the delivery person would come to the apartment door and make a comment about the stairs. Not acceptable. There was a female cashier that used to work at La Vera in mid 2023 who was attentive and pleasant to customers and would be aware of which customers orders were ready, etc. Bring her back! Overall good food - give it a try!

Been here twice on our 10 day stay first ordered BBQ chicken Pizza for me and the wife they miss heard me and did buffalo chicken which is spicy and the wife doesn't do spice the order was redone so waited another 15 mins not a problem I apologise for the mistake even though it was just being misheard the guy was very dismissive. A couple or days passed thought I'd try again I ordered a hamburger no pickle no tomatoe and onion rings for the wife and a meatlovers pizza for me they called cheese burger and onion rings I ignored as it wasn't what I ordered finally realised that it was my order I said I didn't respond as had ordered a Hamburger with the response yeah whatever to get back to the hotel to find it was actually a cheese burger foods ok but staff need to listen and have more manners back to UK shortly and disappointed with a place that should've made our NYC trip a bit more special

Terrible service and pizza. Management must have changed over the years as the quality of the pizza went down lot. My crust was not even fully cooked through and the dough was soft. Staff was rude and shook his tip jar in my face aggressively as well. Very disappointing in the fall from grace after knowing this place for over 4 years.

Good pizza. Nice friendly staff. There are a few tables for seating but they may not be too clean. You need to remind to get thrn cleaned. Pizzas were delicious. We had the Juniors tiramisu which was quite dry. Didn’t quite enjoy it. The Juniors cheesecake was good. Although we would’ve liked the crust to be of graham crackers rather than sponge.Overall a good place to visit for quick pizza.
