Loved that this place was super calm and not crowded. Lunch special is super affordable. Everything was tasty and lunch portions are perfect! They were very accommodating regarding requests to substitute ingredients. Would definitely come back again!

When my Chinese colleague could not wait for his dinner, my colleague went to the waiter and paid -- in my colleague's words -- for the meals. My colleague only paid for his but thought he paid for both. The waiter never asked my friend or myself, still dining, if my friend was only paying for one meal, his. Not mine. The waiter NEVER did what a waiter should do, ask to ensure that my friend was paying for 1 meal and not both meals. The waiter came running out the door after me when I had left, I am staying just literally 150 feet away in the Chelsea Intl. Hostel. There is a police precinct another 100 feet further east. So after I went back to the restaurant and paid, I left the meal of my friend since who wants to eat the meal after the waiter cannot do the job of a waiter, ensure that the bills are paid and that the customer still eating is aware that only 1 bill was paid. Given the facts presented and that the restaurant made a nifty profit off of us, you as consumers have the right to choose your eatery. Based on my experience, I leave it to you to decide whether you wish to eat here. Curious that there were only 2 other people eating, wonder if there are reasons no one was in the restaurant. Are there any food or cleanliness violations?? Just asking.

Soooo delicious! I've come here so many times and never been disappointed. The garlic bread to start with is sinfully delicious. I then had the chicken paillard with a salad and penne with marinara. So satisfying (the lunch menu is an awesome value). Highly recommend

We had brunch here on Easter Sunday and it was a great experience. The staff were super welcoming and friendly from the beginning. Our server was super attentive but not at all over bearing. The brunch menu was diverse and well-priced. Also, you can't beat $15 for 2 hours of BOTTOMLESS mermosas! The food was outstanding all around. I had to have the sirloin lasagna and it was better than I hoped. The breakfast tacos are HUGE and delicious. We need to come back soon and try the regular menu. Great prices, great food, and no attitude in Chelsea!

From a place that has Lasagna in its name, expected a much better lasagna... It was OK, but nothing above average - in fact the strange thing was it had some sort of cream cheese inside in stead of the bechamel.

The ambiance here is ok, nothing too fancy, it gives a homey vibe. The vodka penne is delicious but I would definitely add some protein to it. They give out garlic bread which was SOOO GOOD. and the caesar salad was delicious as well. The linguine with mushrooms in olive oil was lacking a bit flavor. Overall service was good and the staff was nice.
