This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Tucked away in the heart of the Flatiron District, this was just the breath of fresh air we needed on a Friday night after a long week. The food? Excellent. The drinks? Superb. The vibe? I want to redecorate my apartment now.The service? To die for (Steve is a paragon of the service industry who truly elevated our experience a level up).We ordered the regular roti (twice!), Goat Varuval (technically not a true Varuval dish but delicious nonetheless), and the Number 1 Spicy Noodles (not actually that spicy by our taste buds, but Steve was gracious enough to bring us some sambal sauce to satisfy our pallets).Overall, the food was quite filling and tasted great too. The lichi lemonade is absolutely astounding and we would definitely recommend giving it a try or 4.Will keep this restaurant on our short list any time we’re in the neighborhood in the future.

Singapura in New York City promised a taste of Singaporean cuisine but left much to be desired. Upon entering, the smell of dirty dishwater tainted the ambiance, making it difficult to enjoy the meal.Disappointingly, customization options were limited, with no allowance for simple requests like adding vegetables or chili flakes. The so-called "salad" accompanying the meal consisted of a sparse handful of iceberg lettuce drenched in the same sauce as the spring roll, offering little variety or freshness.Sadly, the dishes lacked the vibrant flavors one would expect from Singaporean cuisine. While the restaurant has an attractive decor, the overall experience fell flat, leaving me unable to recommend it to others seeking an authentic taste of Singapore.

This place has a few vegetarian options, but only the small plates are good. The signature dishes and wok items were not at all worth the price. Went with high expectations, disappointed with the food.

Quite authentic street food! We ordered a ton and were impressed. Our local foodie friend hadn’t heard of restaurant, but it was in his top 3 meals in NYC this year. The cocktails were probably our favorite part. As for dishes, I got the Tamil fish. Really delicious but there was sooo much food. Not a bad thing! **They do not hold back on spice level… but I love that they don’t**

The food is just ok, but it’s overpriced. Had the Laksa, the shrimp was not fresh and was overcooked.

A wonderfully delicious experience. High end versions of Singapore and Malaysian dishes. The place is small so definitely book a reservation in advance.

To be honest I didn't love it here. We made a booking and had to wait 15 minutes. Still the food was extremely spicy and we were given no direction on this from the wait stuff. The food itself didn't even taste that great. Maybe we ordered badly, but again, why should there be bad things? The staff should have given us direction to help make sure we get the right way of going. The drinks were good however, but it left a bad taste in our mouth and by that I mean an absolute burningness because we're giving zero direction and I'm good with spice but this was just not right for not giving us the direction on what we were ordering and what we were doing

We booked for 8:45pm and when we turned up we were told our table was finishing dessert so would be 'only a few more minutes'.. then the waitress was a bit rude to us when we asked again 10 mins later when our table would be ready. The food was yum but insanely spicy and we are all paying the price for it the next day.. I would have appreciated the waitress saying the spice levels, legit all the items we ordered were hot. The eggplant 2 ways was yum but again so hot, and the beef rendang insanely delicious but so hot. Was quite expensive for the whole thing so considering the spice levels, waiting and waitress vibes, I don't think we would go back

Their kitchen was very backed up when we ate here (630 reso on a Friday night for 2, not all tables full). Drinks came fast but food took forever for a lot of tables. Our curry puff appetizer took 20mins to come, not sure if they simply forgot since it came within a few min after we reminded themNo comp just an apology when they realized how long the food was taking for all the tables.Food itself was decent. I liked the laksa and char kway teow. But it was extremely pricey. This is not anywhere close to Thai Villa or Pranakhon level of food quality and service, which I can justify the price. So, I think the value isn’t really worth it and I would not return.I would rather go to Nyonya in Chinatown or Hawker food court in midtown for my Malaysian/Singaporean cravings

Nasi lemak for US$29?!?!?!? Haha. You Americans dunno how you are getting ripped off for essentialist a cheap dish. Nasi lemak is at most US$4-8 in south east Asia. And probably taste better too. It’s crazy the prices you guys are willing to fork out for essentially street food.

My hubbie took me here for a date night since we were no longer going to Singapore as planned and he wanted me to have at the very least a Singapore foodie experience..the restaurant had great decor and atmosphere.. the only odd thing though is that they “kindly” mentioned that we had 1.5 hours for dining..which was surprising since it was a policy used during the pandemic which we are no longer in.. however the food was great the staff friendly and we had a great time..we had the Roti, crispy chicken wings which were amazing, chicken Satay, the beef, fried rice and Singapore noodles..
