I was here for drinks on 3/22/24 for drinks only. The waiter seemed annoyed that we were not having food. After 2 drinks he slammed the bill on the table before we were finished. Not wanting to stay after this I paid by card and tipped 10% as I wasn't happy with the service. I kept the receipt and now see that 20% tip was charged to my card. Terrible service and dishonest staff.

Food, service, and ambiance are all 7-8 out of 10. The goat cheese salad is absolutely signature. The crowd is fun and you feel like you're in a young Parisian bistro. The food can be very heavy so order carefully.

I did the 9pm seating for my birthday with a large group of 15 people. Our waiter was extremely quick and attentive. The food was excellent. And the vibe was so fun. It was an amazing birthday and the entire party had a great time. The staff at Le Baratin really went above and beyond to make it a special night for us. Highly recommend it for a celebration dinner!

I heard about Le Baratin through TikTok and have been wanting to book a table here for over a year, but it's always booked and busy. I decided to book my birthday dinner here this year. Unfortunately, I was super disappointed and quite frankly, appalled, by the quality of the service. I arrived 30 minutes late to my reservation due to getting stuck in the tunnel on my commute in. I called the restaurant 4 times to notify them but nobody picked up. I also messaged on Instagram and sent one guest at the originally slotted time to explain the situation. When I arrived, the waiter rushed us and proceeded to make us feel incredibly guilty about being late. He spoke to us rudely and kept saying that we should have called to let him know that we would be late. When I told him that I had called four times, he told me we needed to be out within an hour and could only order one course because there was another reservation after us. I apologized profusely, but he left the table without letting us order and we had to chase down another waitress to put our order in. The other reservation never arrived but the night was already ruined as everyone in the party was made to feel guilty, despite spending nearly $400 on dinner. On top of it, after checking my receipt the next morning, I was overcharged. An item we had changed our minds about had been added to the bill but hadn't been taken off the total price. I was incredibly disappointed as this put a damper on my birthday.OTHER NOTES: The food was good, on the pricier side, but large portions. I loved the chicken cordon bleu. The cocktails were strong but didn't taste good - the French martini was mediocre. Around 9 pm, the space is supposed to turn into a dinner party with loud music and fun vibes. I was expecting big things but the vibes were subpar, especially for a Thursday night. Overall, a decent spot if you can stomach rude service.

Such an amazing place! The vibe was lit, the service and music was uplifting. The staff hyped everybody up and made you feel special. Food 10/10. Perfect small restaurant that makes you feel like you're at a private houseparty.

One of my favorite places in the village for food and vibes. It’s just real in every sense: the people, the food, the atmosphere.

We love this restaurant for many reasons, but we have criticisms of it as well. We have spent over $500 here in less than a month, but on a return we were less than pleased to be rudely hustled off our table and told "there is a 2 hour limit on each table ", when no such (ridiculous) rule was explained before. The waitperson who did so was very much less than pleasant, which was a contrast to the friendly service we had enjoyed up till then. We told her we would like to have a liqueur before we finished and were (again, rudely) told "No, please leave the table - we have other customers waiting". We said "Ok, we'll go to the bar then" only to be told "The bar is full". Well. F*** you then. As I told her- if we had known we'd be treated like this, I would have halved the (generous) tip. Pay attention, guys - your popularity can easily evaporate if you don't treat good customers well. Also, tell your chef - don't overcook your moules for the Moules Marinière. They are only supposed to be cooked just until the shells open and be plump, not shriveled little overcooked buttons in the shell.

Went here with a few friends for dinner. The food was great and the vibe was cool. I will say that we were u formed that there was another reservation at 9. However, we were extremely rushed throughout the entire dinner. The second we put our forks down our waitress came and took them away from us. The staff made us uncomfortable and intimidated as they continued to rush us and were extremely rude. A little bit before 9 our waitress put a barrier table next to us to block us and get us out and then laughed about it was a customer ( who was a famous person). Never felt inclined to leave a review for a resturant whether it's good or bad because all restaurants have bad days. However, we were so incredibly uncomfortable and embarressed by the situation. It was clear that they wanted us out to let the more "elite" group of patrons in. All in all negative experience.

We are a French family that has lived 17 years in the US and this is one of the best French restaurants we've been to. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic French restaurant experience. Bon appetit!

Really cute place that is on the smaller side but cozy and fun still. Service was good, so was the food. Would return. Nice wine and cocktail lists too. Staff speaks French as well (French restaurant). Was here for a birthday with a large group and they accommodated with a reservation. Be aware that if you are dining, they will ask you to settle your bill by 9pm for their late night reservations. Turns into a fun loungey vibe at that time.

Le Baratin: where the salmon saffron fish dreams of swimming upstream to fresher waters. The rigatoni with vodka sauce performed a disappearing act - blandness in every bite. The cocktails played the starring role. If you're into high-energy atmospheres and low expectations for food, this is your spot. Bon appétit, with a side of honesty.
