Nasty lazy waitress. The Canelé was a solid mass of uncooked batter. Could neither pull apart, cut open with knife nor bring myself to use my teeth to gnaw at it. Salad was not fresh and dressing slopped on. Bananas with all three of the pancakes we ordered were bruised. Most of all the whiny and irritated waitress means we won't come back.

I asked for a large coffee . The cashier gave me a small , and there was no place to sit honestly. Their coffee is very acidic .
The place and food was good but the service was pretty bad. The waitress lady here was pretty rude.

I e walked past this quite a few times and dismissed it due to its reviews. They couldn’t be more wrong. This food was excellent. Their coffee was very good. A little pricey but it’s NYc. I will come back again.

Until today, it was one of my favorite cafes, but this morning, when I bought a baguette and coffee, and wanted to eat it in the cafe hall, I was asked to leave the cafe, because people who buy a sandwich “to go” cannot eat their food inside the cafe, where is the point of this if it is the same food from the menu. The hall was half empty, my breakfast would not have taken more than 10 minutes. And this is not a reprimand to the employees, this is to the superiors who imposed these rules. I will never return to the chain of these cafes again. Now there is a very large selection of other places with more delicious coffee and breakfasts. Shame
