Everything was perfect, the food was good and also the coffee. I wasn’t aware of the obligatory 20% tip (Since I was a tourist) I felt a little bit rude the way they returned you the bill if you are not aware of this.I can’t believe that the restaurant doesn’t pay their employees and they only get tips “as the girl told us” for salary.

Exceptional food. Decor lacking, needs some updating. But the food is amazing. Escargot was fragrant, duck confit delicious. Desserts tasty too.

Charming French bistro with warm welcoming staff, civilised wine list, beautifully prepared provincial French dishes and all at an attractive give price point. About 12 tables so book ahead. Service is polite and quick. Highly recommended.David W, March 2024

We go here every week or two. It's like being in a small local charming bistro in Paris. The food is wonderful. The service spot on. Best roast chicken and best moules y frites anywhere - including Paris.

The reputation of this neighborhood bistrot spreads far beyond its Murray Hill borders. It i a favorite that is visited whenever a friend who spends extensive time in Paris comes to visit in NYC. The food is great the wine list totally complementary and the desserts leave even those of us that generally eschew such things vying for a a taste or two of creme brulee. Put your convention aside and have a Sancerre with everything. See you soon.

I have visited many French restaurants in Manhattan, and this is the only place that offers authentic onion soup. If you're looking to try traditional French cuisine, this is the place to come. The menu may not offer a wide variety of options, but the onion soup and clams are delicious. The main courses are acceptable; we ordered the chicken breast and mushroom omelet.

Le Parisien is the closest thing I've had to boutique restaurants in Paris. Onion Soup is remarkable. Bread is crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside Steak Frites are perfect. I'd argue the fries are best in NY.
