Fabulous! You could spend so much money in here and never feel unhappy about it. Totally vegan it's actually quite large with lots of places to sit and just plants everywhere. if I had more money, I would buy myself every single plant and item they have here. lovely food, lovely staff, highly recommend! please support your neighborhood, vegan place.

I came here during NYC restaurant week. So glad that I found this little gem that's fairly hidden right next to the Macomb bridge. I love the decor and the plant that are perfectly placed all around the Cafe. It's just a very chill, calm vibe. The food is warm, comforting and very healthy. A bit light on the salt but I think that's the whole point of being whole rounded healthy. Definitely recommend and I definitely will return to order food off the regular venue.Vegetarian options: This is a strictly vegan cafe.

I love this place. Have been here twice so far during restaurant week and I’m going to make my return visit. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and she is absolutely pleasant and very much open to feedback. The chef and 2 other staff members were a delight to talk to. Food is very flavorful and I like that they switch up the menu. I wish they had better dessert options is why I gave a 4 star rating.I’ve been here 3 times and the new menu additions are A++. I ordered ALL of the sides along with the harvest salad, the vegan hot chocolate, and a new addition to the pastries. Everything was very flavorful and delicious. Looking forward to going back next month. I missed the free plant offer this year. That was a nice touch during the previous restaurant week.Ms Halene and Elijah thank you for making this visit one to remember and leave a 5 star review about!

FOOD: the menu is a curated selection of dishes from around the world. Everything we tried was delicious. And everything is vegan! I especially enjoyed the beet curry and bonjee, both of which had a coconut curry base and were fresh, light, and wholesome. The Sri Lankan katarica (eggplant) was saucy and satisfying. The mushroom mole was not my favorite, but others at the table said it was theirs. DRINKS: infused water is self service and delightful, and the espresso drinks are top tier! One of the best iced lattes I've had recently. PLANTS: the ambiance of the shop is LOVELY, drenched in light and filled with beautiful plants that you can take home. We left with 3! I don't find myself in the Bronx that often, but I will now to return to Mae Mae
