Family owned restaurant with excellent service and authentic Mexican food. The owner is personable and makes sure everything is top notch. He interacts with his customers and is very pleasant. Definitely leave room for dessert. The homemade mango and vanilla ice cream is superb. The flavors are perfection. Highly recommend.

I have no idea how this rating came to be in nyc especially. Their prices are very high but I figured from the rating and the prices I would get a great meal. Then when my food came I got a very sad salad in an even sader shell which is suppose to mate and go perfectly with the salad but it was hardly even editable. In it was a lot of lettuce and only a little bit of everything else and I mean little. It also was nothing like authentic Mexican. It was like a salad I could have gotten at trader joes for 6 dollars but here was over $30. No chips and salsa either. Was criminal. Avoid!
We were super hungry and found this family-owned hole-in-the-wall place and decided to check it out…and I’m so glad we did! Margaritas were amazing (and so many flavor choices!) and the menu was perfect for me as a gluten free vegetarian. Everything was clearly labeled and there was a vegetarian section. I had enchiladas which were soo delicious. You won’t regret trying this place!

This place was really good. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and had great flavor. We ordered the chips & salsa, enchiladas suizas, chimichanga, virgin pina colada, and a couple Margarita’s. Everything was on point. No complaints at all. It is a pricey Mexican spot, but it’s Manhattan, so not unusual to any other restaurant. It was also pretty packed. I recommend reserving a table in advance.Highly recommended
