I love this diner. Service great. The food was awesome. Their fries were really, really good.You don’t even need ketchup on them. If your going to Symphony Space for a show, it’s a great place for a bite before.

Absolutely disgusting food and reprehensible communication with the manager. I ordered an omelette and French toast for delivery today Sunday 4/7 and every single thing was dangerously undercooked. The French toast was so raw that it fell apart in my hands when I picked it up to look at it more closely. It looked like cold, curdled eggs. I’ve never seen French toast look like that. It was clearly put in the batter for way too long, and then cooked for way too short of a time. The eggs for the omelette were so undercooked that you could actually see the egg yolk in between the cold cheese and the outside of the omelette. The cheese was still in its uncooked square form, it was unbelievable to see. AND there were egg shells in the omelette that were visible! Even the hashbrowns were so undercooked that they were all completely white and translucent. There was no sign of them on a frying pan at all.I called to talk to the manager to see if they could replace it, and he did not apologize, he did not offer for it to be replaced, he offered no solution whatsoever. Insanely apathetic, cold human being. He said that it was probably cold, because Uber took too long, even though the issue was not at all that the food was cold, it was completely undercooked. In fact, the Uber delivery person arrived extremely quickly from the location, which is only eight blocks away from me. He said they have their own delivery people, but that they do not deliver that. All they had to do was have one of their delivery people ride eight blocks to remedy a disgusting order, and they completely refused. I would highly recommend not eating here, this place is deplorable.

I Dined in this Evening I was greeted by aGentleman behind the Cash Registet I indicated 1 seat he replied by the window I wanted to make sure I heard him correctly he repeated himself sort of sparky and attitude my Waiter was awesome excellent Service another Waiter came over to find out if I was being taken care of which i though was,very nice the food is Excellent a wide variety as for the seating situation other people came in they were escorted to their table one lone female diner sat at a table another female diner was asked if she would like to sir by the window she declined she was,escorted to a table both of them Caucasian I'm a Black Woman do I sense hidden racism from this individual? also his Waitstaff were doing their jobs he keptwatching them micro managing or needed to be babysitted they weren't doing anything wrong they were very competent and knew what they were doing

3.5 stars. Both food and service were as expected! I actually wasn't expecting much. It was basic diner food, but I was pleasantly surprised because I did enjoy most of the food. I got the Grilled Chicken Omelette and tried some of their pancakes. The Grilled Chicken Omelette was good. The chicken chunks were seasoned just right, and the omelette wasn't too salty or bland. The hash browns though were very bland and pretty undercooked. Their pancakes were good -- they were fluffy and perfectly cooked. They had just the right amount of subtle sweetness and eggy taste. They weren't too dry. The jams and pancake syrup comes in its own individually-packaged containers, which I don't prefer because it's wasteful, but it's probably standard across diners. The Viand a couple of blocks away seems to make their own homemade jams and doesn't use individually-packaged syrup containers. We pay the check at the cashier, so checking out might take a while if there is a long line and might feel rushed. Overall, not bad. Would return if I wanted diner food again! Would probably still choose to go to the Viand over here, but this isn't a bad option!
