I took my mother here at this steakhouse to try for lunch. The staff and ambiance are great and very welcoming. We tried two cocktails: Dream Berry and Trial & Error. They were tasty and complemented the appetizers that we ordered. The two appetizers, the Sautéed Shrimp and the Crab Cake, were delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp more due to its flavor. As for the meats, I had the Bone-in ribeye in medium temperature while my mother had the Porterhouse steak, medium well. Both were great selections and grilled to our temperatures. Just needed a bit more seasoning or butter on my ribeye to make this steak excellent. The Sin Chocolate Cake with their homemade whipped cream was sweet. It's definitely a great way to finish our lunch with Mastro's.This steakhouse is a good one in Diamond District. Definitely make a reservation and give it a try.

Very selective of whom they want to come to their place. They discriminate. A whole party of 6 because someone had a removable hoody but yet there was someone sitting eating in sweatsuit wear. Will never ? support this facility my daughter wanted to try here for her sweet 16. Such a disappointment.

The ribeye steak was so juicy and flavorful. The server was very nice and informative about the drinks of the restaurants and also answering any questions that we have. Overall, this was a great meal experience and I will rate this restaurant a 5/5 stars ?

It was very dark, crowded, and loud. Couldn't see the menu, or what I was eating or talk to my companions. Don't bother going there.

The food and service never disappoints. I've been here twice, for lunch and dinner, and I would come again for either.

Right off the bat, racist front door staff. Coming inside from a literal monsoon and they are shouting at me to take off my hat and raincoat hood as part of their "strict" policy, I said I'm sorry it's raining out and I didn't want to get wet I just stepped inside, and she rudely said "are you wearing a shirt underneath?". I sat for three hours and saw multiple other folks come in wearing hats, hoodies, and all kids of other headgear, continue to their seats and wear said headgear throughout their meals, apparently these rules are only strict if they don't like who you are. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many better steakhouses in the neighborhood. Quality Meats has never jumped down my throat about my attire, especially while dripping wet from a legendary storm. I've actually eaten here about 5 times but that was one too many.

What a wonderful experience. We went to celebrate my birthday and see a Broadway show. From asking about our experience with the performers to each staff member wishing me happy birthday, The service was just outstanding; we haven’t had polite, timely, or professional service like this…ever! The manager and the two servers taking care of us each made authentic conversations that made the experience feel so personalized. On top of that, our server made a few enhancements to our meal that really put this experience over the top. Lynne and I don’t have huge appetites, but we enjoyed every appetizer and an entree. The waitstaff and kitchen dressed up each dish to accommodate two plates, which again made the meal feel so personalized and high class. The food was amazing, Lynne said the lobster bisque was also the best she's ever had! Can’t recommend this place enough.FIVE ⭐️⭐️?⭐️⭐️ All around.

Absolutely disappointed. Looked forward to trying Mastros. Been to most of the top steakhouses in NYC. I would rate this at the very bottom of the top 20 (definitely not top10). Meats average. Appetizers below average. Drinks, especially the bubbly pre-made Cosmo way below average. To top it all off, my server returned to complain to me when he received 18% instead of 20% gratuity. Never again.
