I’m surprised by the lower 4 star overall rating for Matchaful. I ordered a plain matcha latte with macadamia milk, no sweetener. It was perfect - grassy and earthy without any bitterness. There was a hint of sweetness and nuttiness from the mac milk, which balance it out really well. I’d go back time and time again.

This location is awesome. Right in the heart of soho. Super great vibe in and outside of the store. Plenty to try on the menu! And I love walking around this area after I grab my drink. The baristas here are so lovely and knowledgeable on the different botanical add ins and types of matcha. What a delight the cookies are too!

I ordered matcha latte with Almond milk without any sweeteners.I am not sure if the bigger size of the cup (12oz instead of 9oz) affected the taste, but I barely felt the Matcha flavor.It mostly tasted like water with paper (from a paper cup).

Nice grab and go matcha spot. I got the short Match Latte, love the strong matcha flavor yet it is very smooth. There are many interesting add-ons and drink options that I did not get to try, will visit again if I am in the area.

The person working the register was unfriendly, unhelpful and disinterested in her job. The matcha itself was fine, but not good enough to make me return and be treated as if I’m bothering the staff by coming in.
