The prices are unbeatable and service is very fast, especially when you order on the app. This has been my local coffee shop for nearly three years, and something I look forward to on my way to work. The only shame is the new staff that came in about 4-5 months ago are very cold, unfriendly and combative (especially the girl). They seem to hate their job, unlike the staff in years before them who were always extremely friendly, talkative and seemed to enjoy their jobs. And that positivity made a real difference to the place.

Nothing beats a $2.50 Latte, this is one of the smaller Matto branches I have visited. It was a little crowded but people managed to get their drinks quickly despite the fact that there was only one Barista

It’s a real pity the service staff changed over the summer - the new ones are not very friendly and borderline combative, very unlike the always smiling, hard-working staff before.

I was originally drawn in by the sign showing the banana date latte and I had every intent of trying that because I love banana and dates, but the barista told me it wasn't sweet so I ended up deciding against it since I'm not a big fan of espresso. I ultimately ordered a matcha and was amazed that it was less than $4. It was pretty good, too. There were also banana bread samples.

Best Freddo Espresso in Manhattan. For some reason they call it Cold Iced Espresso which makes no sense as no one knows it with that name.Great job !!!!!! Finally some real iced coffee.

The folks here work so hard, get so slammed, and yet still do an amazing job every time. We've been here every week for months. We order complicated things. We are loud. We drop our lids in the garbage by accident. But the folks here still provide amazing customer service. The food has also gotten even better in recent months.

Good place for good quality coffee at reasonable prices. They also offer light snacks. I also bought espresso capsules.

Pleasant staff, clean cafe, quick service, alternative milks, vegan snacks, and affordable prices. Keep in mind everything is $3.50 & in this case you're getting what you pay for.

Ordered 2 Iced Latte Egg and vegetarian sausage on a whole grain artisan roll. It was very good and fresh. Very good service. Seating was limited but for the price you pay you can't expect too much. The environment was very good and welcome. Not too busy and they have outdoor seating.

They use La Colombe coffee which is absolutely delicious! It's so good I can drink it black, without sugar. I'm also a fan of their blueberry muffin. The top is so crunchy and sweet and the bottom is so moist and fruity! Their croissant is also pretty good if you something more on the savory side.I did not know that Matto was a chain, but I'm so glad that they have multiple locations! They've become my go-to for my breakfast and coffee!

Quick service and cheap prices. Food tastes good and have decent portion sizes. Definitely recommend for something on the go.

Coffee Review: My friends and I went to this location when they were having their opening week special and they were giving out free coffees...any kind, so I got a watered down version of a vanilla latte with oat milk and it was one of the worst coffees I've had while in NY! I'm glad I did not have to pay for it. Service Review: Service was just as shitty as the coffee and I can't believe how rude and short-tempered the employees were. If you're gonna give me a crappy cup of coffee, at least service it with a half decent disingenuous smile. I gave it two stars because I'm hoping this establishment improved in quality of drinks and service from opening week.
