I’m not easily impressed by restaurant food, but I really like this place. My daughter said the fried chicken was excellent and I thought the vegetarian options were flavorful and pleasantly atypical. Super friendly service, Northeast prices yes, but fair — especially for the neighborhood. Nice atmosphere with old Bollywood films silently playing on a projector screen. Also, great music.

Even though it poured the night, we dinned at Meat & Bread. My twin son's recommended this spot, and I'm glad they did. We were a party of 5, everyone couldn't be more happy with the selections from our dinner to the desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection. I look forward to going back when I return to NY. My friends and I are still talking about how good the food was ??

Great halal option in the city! I heard amazing things so I was excited to check it out. My brother and I decided to get a few dishes and share, which was perfect because we were able to try a few different items. Chimichurri steak sandwich: 8/10. The meat itself was tender for the most part, but I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. Maybe a spicy sauce or something to really elevate the flavor would have gone a long way, especially for a steak sandwich which can get dry over time. The bun was perfect though and overall, it's a solid option. Hot honey chicken sandwich: 10/10. This one was soo delicious! Crispy and well seasoned. Every aspect of the sandwich was well done and the flavors were on point. Fries: we got a version of their spicy, seasoned fries and these were sooo good too. They were crispy and done right! Overall, as a bonus, the service was great and the restaurant was nice and clean so I would go back!

Everything was very tasty! Definitely recommend the crispy fried rice - great fusion flavour. Cute space not too busy on a Saturday night, also has a clean and big bathroom.

Great place for group gatherings or dates. Modern aesthetics with bohemian vibes. We went as a group of ten and had a wonderful time. If you're craving desi food with American fusion, this place delivers. The meat is Halal, if thats a deciding factor for you. The service was exceptional, our server Yamoni kept checking in periodically to make sure we were taken care of, and provided many great suggestions. Def check this spot when you're in LES.

Although a tight squeeze, this establishment makes proper use of the limited space that they have. The staff were moderately friendly and sociable. The food was truly immaculate except for the sweet potato fries which I personally would not recommend. Wish they were drenched in bbq sauce. I also hope they add more empanadas to one serving, as I was disappointed to learn you’re paying for only one.The Cowgirl and Hot Honey Fried Chicken are my personal favorites. Specify if you want medium rare well done, etc because the cashier assumed I wanted medium rare.Regardless, great quality sandwiches/burgers!No sauces were provided to any of us, I had to ask for some so they can improve on service.
