It used to be amazing, the quality of both food and service has gone down. Burnt meet, a non interested staff, owners coming and going without caring. I won't be coming back.

The man who works the front with that hat needs to be put in the back aways from customers. His attitude and lack of regard was very off putting, I cancelled my order mid sentence because of it.

The fries are delicious here! Eat them while there hot!

The Lil Mighty double smashburger is the pinnacle of smashburgers in New York I’ve had to date — high quality, the right size, crisped at the edges, not overly saucy (unlike many of the other “best smashburger” places). Fries are excellent too.

Had a mighty dog and fries. The hot dog was delicious , a quality hot dog link , with a soft bun and the onions , shallots and mighty sauce was wonderful but too much onions! Next time , I'll ask them to go very light on them. Fries were fresh. Service was friendly.

Located in the basement of Essex Market, this food vendor is one of the first you see with its old school diner style decor.Tried the dry aged cheeseburger and it was delicious; the patty was juicy yet packed with flavor. The fries had the skin still on and were a mixture of crispy and soggy.

Really good hotdog and rivals Nathan’s but pls don’t put wet toppings under the dog because it breaks the bread and then dog and everything falls

I'll start with the good. Their ingredients are good, very good. The beef is of high quality and when done well it is very tasty. The fries are twice or thrice cooked? Crunchy on the outside and soft, fluffy on the inside. Now the bad, this place is very inconsistency. Depending which cook you get and what mood they are in, the burger might be cold with the meat not fully cooked through. Or the portion is too small or the meal is not seasoned enough. I really like this place and it think it deserves to be hyped but until they figure out their operation this will remain just average.
