The staff were SUPER accomodating and welcoming from the minute we booked. Ensured a superior room, early check-in, etc. The room was large for NYC, clean bathroom, decent amenities. It is also well located as you are a 10 minute cab from both the Upper East Side as well as Soho area. We walked both, which took about 30 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

The front of house and housekeeping staff were exceptional. They welcomed us latent with baggage out of the midday heat. They were always kind. The room was spacious, clean, and impeccably styled. I will seek out Mondrian hotels for future travel.

The beds are sooooo good and the staff is very helpful and nice Jason and Gabriel were super nice and helpful. The bathrooms are very clean and the hotel in general is very nice. The location is amaizing.

The staff at this hotel were unbelievably lovely. Justin, Jacob, Lee and Iliana were by far the most welcoming and friendly staff. I will definitely stay at the Mondrian again when I come back to NYC.

Just spent three great night at the Mondrian. We had booked a premier king but we were upgraded to a balcony suite. Huge sitting area by NY standards with amazing views and a comfy bed. Bathroom was stellar with a rain shower and heated floors. The continental breakfast was a good way to start the morning before heading out. One small complaint is that they could use a toaster to heat up the bagels and the waffles. The front desk was very helpful especially Zoila and Gabriel. Highly recommend you stay here on your trip to NYC!

Enjoyed my stay of several days. I’ve stayed in many hotels in NYC over the years. The Mondrian is a smaller “boutique” hotel in a great location. Most importantly, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Kudos to Sarah, Lee, Gabriel and Jason!

I made two business trips to New York in May of this year, and after my first stay at the Mondrian I booked immediately for the second trip. The hotel is clean, the rooms are lovely, and quiet, the location suited my needs excellently - and there are lots of restaurants, clubs and bars nearby. The Continental breakfast on the upstairs terrace was completely delightful and the ambiance there left room for conversations with other guests and travelers from around the world. Helping with my late check-in (delayed flight) and with everything else I needed (baggage, photocopying, spare phone charger, etc.) was an attentive staff all of whom deserve praise: Iliana, Moises, Sarah, Justin, Lee, Jacob and Luis. This is a terrific place for families, for tourists and for business travelers like myself. I will book again on my next trip to New York. ps. The artwork in the rooms 'mirrors' Piet Mondrian's modernist designs.

Service is excellent, very reliable. Slept well .. which is hard to find in nyc ! Location is great for work, easy to get to Airport via train. I found the room to very clean, the front desk was beyond nice. I’ll stay again. Not a party place., but great if you have boo with you.. and plenty of spots to eat and drink at.

The stay was fine. I do feel like the hotel should inform you that there is no mini bar, no room service, and no restaurant on site. The rooms are also very shabby and it was very hard to get your room serviced when staying for a long time. the hotel and the rooms look nothing like the images - they are extremely old pictures or stock imagery. The front service were very friendly on check in and check out, unfortunately the wrong card was used for my taxes and there are two charges on my card which still go unexplained even though ive emailed repeatedly to swtich over the card for the charges and ot find out what the additional charges are and im now being ignored. when you call you get told to call the front desk number and the front desk number nobody answers or they hang up. The worst customer service and im super frustrated and this has ruined what was otherwise a great trip to NYC
I hosted my wife's birthday party here on a Saturday afternoon and things went just about as well as could be. Koko and her team were professional from start to finish, and we and our guests had a great time. The drinks are excellent, the interior is classy without being stuffy, and the indoor/outdoor setup ensured that there was an enjoyable space for everyone. Wife was pleased and that's what mattered at the end.

Very friendly service, adequate selection of drinks, could add a bit more to the bites menu. Pricing is reasonable for a rooftop bar in Manhattan. View is similar to other rooftop bars in the area. Music is not too loud so this is a great bar for a comfortable chill time to enjoy a nice Manhattan rooftop experience. No crazy loud music where you can't even hear the person next to you. Overall had a great experience.

Drinks are extremely overpriced, $40 excluding tip for 2 drinks, ridiculous for a hotel bar in Manhattan. Additionally bartenders were unattentive at best.

Fjolla Justin and Iliana were the highlights of my stay! Wonderful check in process and a mixture of great personalities. Coco from the rooftop bar had impeccable service as well. Will definitely be coming back to this property for my New York stay!

My stay was short but sweet. Great location, nice rooftop area. Staff is amazing as well! From the time I pulled up…Jason was there to greet me and assisted with valet. He even walked me to the front desk where Sarah pleasantly greeted me. Sarah, Jason and Justin were such a pleasure. Justin I encountered ar checkout and he was a pleasure also. I heard him in the phone being so generous with another client. Great customer service really brightens the day. Wow very helpful, attentive, pleasant and just marvelous. Can’t wait to come back!!
