The food itself is good, not great..The atmosphere is basic, small and very loudThere are quite a few Greek restaurants in that same area that are much better ..We were seated 45 minutes over our reservation, ok fine, things happen. But then they closed the kitchen while we were eating, no coffee, no dessert and cleaning up around us. Very unprofessional. They failed to understand basic requested credit card accommodations, making paying for our friends not a surprise but chaos ..But the worse thing, the reason why I'm writing this review,They gave us the bill without a breakdown of the charges .. and when they got us the breakdown after it was requested twice, they charged us $30 over the correct billSo ..Food, mediocre ..Service, mediocre to bad ..Atmosphere, almost horribleShady Bllsht, great and on pointMy recommendation ..Go to Korali Estiatorio on 3rd .. its 100 x's better

My second time there in a week. Mykonian House did not disappoint. Our party of 4 had a great time. Food quantity was ample, service was top notch, we were not rushed, and our waitress Eleni was very pleasant and helpful in recommending dishes. Manager Greg works hard to ensure a positive experience for guests. They succeeded on both of my visits.

Very nice restaurant. Food was tasty except I thought the lentil soup a bit watery. I would go again. The prix fixe lunch was good value. However the prices are a bit high but they are in very high-priced area so rent must be high too.

It was a great experience having dinner at Mykonian House for 6 people. The wait staff recommended a fish menu and it was delicious and Im glad i listened. Wine selections are enough and affordable. They missed serving one of our ordered appetizers and gave it to us when we were having our main entree but they ended up giving it to us on the house... Overall the food we ordered were all delicious...Wait staff were very attentive..I would definitely recommend this place to other people and would love to go back if I'm in the area again.

An interesting Greek option offering large fresh fishes to share, as well as traditional specialties. The dips and Mykonian chips with Tzatziki were tasty. Service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Nice alternative in the Upper East!

Really good and authentic Greek food in an upscale neighborhood. Had the moussaka which was full of flavor yet quite delicate. Fried calamari and tzatziki were delicious as well. And my other half raved about the lamb chops.

Went here for a late lunch last min after going to the Klimt museum. Delicious authentic Greek food. The lemon soup was incredible and perfect to warm you up from the chill. Loved the meze and the fried cheese!!!

BEWARE Food and service were excellent. Crowded and noisy but that goes with success. So why the one star review. I left a 20% tip of $40. The restaurant put the charge through as $80. No response to my attempts to reach them through their website. Now I'm going through the hassle of appealing the charge with Visa. Maybe an honest error or maybe hoping I wouldn't notice. Hmm???

A cozy place that serves authentic Greek food. The food and service were excellent. Our server Daphne was cheerful and kept tabs on our table throughout the night. My wife and I had a great experience and we'll be back.

Appreciated the efforts made when we arrived and our table was not ready - they offered appetizers and drinks on the house while we sat at the bar to wait for our table. Food and service is excellent. Great addition to the neighborhood

A local resident suggested this place to us. Octopus Appetizer and lobster pasta and baclava for dessert shared between two of us for lunch was perfect. Delicious and great service. Would definitely come here

Excellent food and service- because there was not an empty table and a few clients waiting it was noisy.

I have been here twice. The first time, I really enjoyed the food but had noticed the waitstaff seemed kind of subdued. I did not think anything of it until I came back the second time and see the manager screaming at his wait staff. I find out later in my meal that he is actually the owner and he does this all the time. He did not know I speak Greek and could understand him, I was shocked to hear the things he called his staff, calling them stupid, useless, and using curse words. I was shocked and definitely will not be returning here. His attitude left a bad taste in my mouth that ruined the taste of the food.
