Great ambience to get some work done. Their coffees had sour notes which I absolutely loved!

Amazing coffee and amazing customer service from the man from today (Sunday 01/28). The woman wearing red however did not need to shame me for ordering milk with my coffee by being like “that’s not an American thing” or whatever. Don’t serve milk with coffee if it’s such a burden to you then.In response to the manager/owner’s response: no I don’t even know what I paid for the milk, this has nothing to do with money. The woman wearing red randomly said “I need the steam cup thing back” and I said “oh we can add the milk in a cup if you want”, and she was like “no that’ll make a mess. We don’t even do this here. It’s not American to serve milk with your coffee” or whatever she said. Like ok? Damn sorry

best spot to spend your mornings in the neighborhood

Delicious coffee. It has limited seating (which actually is quite nice). No wifi, so this should be your reading spot. Pictured: iced oat milk cappuccino

They make a fine cup of coffee and I respect that they try to keep it simple and cheap (or cheaper than some places at least). It's nothing to write home about though. The pastries they stock from C&B are pretty good too.

4 star shop, but bumping up to 5 because of their no BS price. Ninth Street Espresso is reminiscent of the past coffee shops that focus on quality and not frills. It's so rare to find a quality latte for $4 these days.. The entrance is easy to miss as it's inside a shared marketplace. The space itself is also pretty small with a rustic wooden aesthetic. The menu is interestingly named -- "hot coffee, cold coffee, cold brew". Good thing I knew what a latte was haha. To be honest, I came here because I saw there was advanced latte art in the photos. The latte art I received wasn't that advanced, but the drink itself was lovely. Quality medium roast, not overly milky, and somewhat caramel-y. They roast their own beans too!

Coffee was DREADFUL! I immediately had a stomach ache, then later experienced diarrhea and vomiting several times! I'm lucky to have made it home!!!

Great coffee always! I wish there is more seating available for us to stay, especially it would be great if the store can use an air purifier for indoor space.

Triple OG Spro shop that is a must for anyone who enjoys NYC coffee culture. You don't have to think so hard about it, order a white or a black, chill out on the patio, watch Alphabet City flow around as you come to life for the day!
