This is my favorite deli in nyc!! Everyone is so nice and friendly hereeee! I got the chopped cheese sandwich and it sends me to heaven every time. It truly is the finest deli!

Stopped by for lunch, space is clean and staff are super friendly! Been wanting to try their chopped cheese and it was an amazing combination of flavors and so good that I brought some friends here later the same night. Would stop by again if in the neighborhood to try their other sandwiches!

2/5: Got the Chicken Over Rice and got not 1 but 2 pieces of hair in my platter. One hair I could’ve lived with, but two is just plain gross.Wanted to give this place another chance so the following week I went again, this time asking for a chopped cheese. They said their grill was closed and were only serving cold food. I gave up, found another deli to find a chopped cheese, and never came back here.A shame because the chicken over rice was tasty otherwise and the guys inside seemed pretty cool.MY RESPONSE TO DELI RESPONSE: Instead of owning up to the issue, you decide to insult my character?I came to your deli. TWICE. The photos attached are dated January 30th at 11:00 pm. Check your security camera footage at around that time. You’ll see someone who looks like me order a chicken over rice with white sauce, red sauce, and no salad. I’m posting this review in March because I had a backlog of reviews to write and didn’t have time to write this earlier. Not surprised you can’t remember me from memory, which is understandable. But I know what I know and I DEFINITELY DID come inside. TWICE. Don’t call me a liar. Check the footage.Where did I say the food was “AMAZING?” Did you read the review? I said it was “tasty.” No more than that. And while good, I can’t easily rank it above the many other chicken-over-rice options in the area because I’ve had better. I still think it was good, which is why I gave 2 stars rather than be angry and reactionary and give 1 (which would’ve been unfair in my opinion). Please don’t act like I was blown away by the food; I was not.Also, how am I promoting another business? If I wanted to, I could’ve named the deli that I’ve been going to instead of yours, but I didn’t because I’m not the kind of man you’re convinced I am.Overall, I was fair in my review - not angry, not calling your food bad, and I even said I gave you a 2nd chance. And this is how you react? If you had the professionalism to reach out and offer to talk about this privately and prove to me the level of quality that you claim, I would’ve been happy to remove/change my review. But you didn’t, so now I can’t get the taste of hair out of my mouth.P.S. Do you really think I care about my followers? They can unfollow me for all I care. I write these reviews so businesses can get honest feedback and praise for when things go right and ideas for improvement for when things go wrong.

The service was fast and friendly. Kareem was great, and I love my sandwich. I'll be coming at back to try out other things on the menu. There is an ATM inside but you may want to bring cash if you plan to tip.
