Fresh sushi in a cute little spot. Came in on a Monday and everything was great. Me and my friend had the place to ourselves mostly - great quiet little intimate place to sit down and chat and have some excellent sushi. Also great for dates but not only.

I stumbled upon this place during a work trip. The food was super tasty. The teriyaki shrimp was light and flavorful and the tuna hand roll was superb. Service is attentive without being smothering.

Portions were tiny. I paid $16 for a half filled, 3 inches hand roll. Their sushi roll barely has any rice and thinner than this paragraph.

Great little hole in the wall sushi/japanese place. Restaurant was cozy, service was good, and sushi was fresh! Note it’s BYOB so come prepared.

Originally from Kyoto, Japan with Boston as their first international shop, their tea latte do not disappoint! The matcha/hojicha latte by default are slightly sweetened. If you don't like your drink sweetened (like me), be sure to ask them to make it unsweetened! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~ Matcha Latte $6.75 ~ Uji Matcha flavour is strong and balanced. Even when unsweetened, it does not taste very bitter. Rating: 5/5 ~ Hojicha Latte $6.75 ~ Just based on the drink colour itself, you can already tell the presence of Hojicha! My friend kept her drink sweetened, whilst I am not a fan of sweetened Hojicha latte, just based on the 1 sip that I had, it is very flavourful, the deep roasted Hojicha flavour came though beautifully. Rating: 5/5 ~ Croissant ~ Flaky croissant but not very buttery. Great snacks to order with the drinks. Rating: 3.75/5 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Will I be back? Yes! As a matcha/hojicha fan, I will definitely visit Ogawa again the next time I'm in Boston!

Great food; great service. You can rent a large table for 8 people and seat on the floor, on the mattress — feels very authentic!

A great/reliable neighborhood, no frills sushi spot! Cozy atmosphere. A go to walk in spot, love the BYOB aspect. Prices match the experience. I will keep going here.

Terrible service!!!I was excited to try this new neighborhood spot and when I ordered sushi lunch and asked “no white tuna please”, the waitress told me absolutely no substitutions. I explained I was allergic to it but she told me this was impossible as she wasn’t the one who invented the rules…They really should try and think “outside the box” if they don’t want to lose customers. As far as the competition goes- there’s plenty of fish in the sea. Literally!!! Good luck to you Ogawa!

This place deserves a 5 star. Really fresh sushi, and generous portion of fish with each piece of sushi. Would love to come back.

Food was very nice. Very good selection of tasty vegetarian options, of which we tried the sushi, gyoza, fried rice, and ramen. Space is very small though, even for a small sushi restaurant, so just be ready for that.
