Wonderful omakase dinner. Ambiance was intimate and fun. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming here again the next time we're in NYC!

Came here for my birthday dinner because I love all things Japanese cuisine and Omakase by Korami did not disappoint! Service, food, and drinks were phenomenal. I did feel a little rushed though so be aware this is only an hour dine in experience. The restaurant is small and there is only counter service Available so you can see the chefs prepare the food right in front of you. Friendly atmosphere with so many delicious and fresh nigiri. My favs: catfish, salmon, bluefin tuna w caviar. Melted in my mouth, soo fresh and so much flavor. Loved! We enjoyed our meal over Dassai 39 sake and I was excited to get a tuna hand roll birthday surprise with a candle in it. Super sweet from the chefs and it was such a great birthday dinner.

One of the best in the city when weighing price vs. quantity/quality: 15 quality pieces for $89 plus tax/tip? I'm there. Reservation was easy via Resy. They do have a $60 per person cancellation fee, but they were super kind and understanding when I explained a situation where I would have to change my reservation time to much later that evening. The place is small, with about 10ish seats around the bar. They only give you an hour, but I felt like the meal was still well paced overall. We got a great variety of some favorites: ikura, uni, chutoro, ootoro, etc. The server came regularly to check on us, and also offered free shots of sake that we got to enjoy with our chefs! Definitely great value for the price. I will be back!

THE best omakase I've ever experienced ranging from all parts of the United States. Service: My partner and I got a private experience as you have to make reservations well in advance. You're seated promptly after the previous batch of people and the chef as well as the owner take their time to get to know you. The chef tells you each piece of art they make for you and the manager/owner likes to talk to you and get to know you a little bit. We loved having conversation with our host as he was very friendly and attentive. Food: By far, each single piece was handcrafted right in front of you with absolute technical skill. My favorite pieces were anything with negi toro or fatty tuna. The chefs definitely know what they are doing. Flavors blended well together and not too much wasabi was added between fish and rice. Overall, if this spot was in California, I'd love to come back on a monthly, if not weekly, basis.

customer service and ambiance was lovely, food was a bit lacking for the price. with the competitive environment of omakase in nyc there are better options out there.

RUN don't walk to grab a reservation!! Best affordable omakase experience in Hell's Kitchen / midtown. The staff was incredible and the sushi was perfection - great selection and extremely fresh & well prepared. We already are planning to go back because it's 1000% worth a visit. Highly recommend!

TL;DR: It was FIRE!!!This was by far the most amazing experience I have ever had. From the friendliest Chefs to the amazing flavorful melt in your mouth courses . Chef Ben and Chef Kong were very polite and educated us on what we were eating and had some lovely jokes. It was great to see everything prepared right in front of you and fresh. The pace of when the courses came out was perfect and not rushed at all. The place is small but understandable why they do the reservations the way they do it. I highly recommend going here!

Good omakase and great value for the price point (15 pieces!) This place was casual and all the fish was fresh and good quality. They had a variety of fish/toppings which I liked. I wasn't super hungry when I went because usually omakase doesn't fill me up but with 15 pieces I got quite full towards the end and was basically stuffing myself which made it less enjoyable. Another thing I didn't love was that they brought out hot rice in the middle of the meal so the juxtaposition of the hot rice with the cold fish was a little odd and made some of the toppings like the uni too gooey. Lastly, didn't love that all the pieces at the end were quite heavy (toro, wagyu, uni, etc) so it made it more difficult. I wish they alternated some heavy pieces with lighter fish. Overall though the taste was good and you get a good value for the amount of food. I'd just suggest going hungry!

15 courses, $89, 1 hour, be prepared to have fun! The counter only sits around 10 people so it is an intimate dinner experience. The chefs take the time to talk to you and tell you about each piece. There is also endless sake on the house! Each piece is unique and paired with something different. Easily one of my favorite omakases in the city!

I really loved this experience. This was my first time ever having Omakase and I feel like it probably ruined me. Everything was great; this was truly one of those experiences where each bite tasted better than the last. The service was friendly and hospitable and very accomodating. Our chef engaged with us directly and told us about each piece he created. The pace of the meal was also excellent. Very fun night and memorable experience. Give it a try

Chef Ryan is more than great, with a menu and ingredients of exceptional quality.

This is a quick and easy way to eat 15 kinds of sushi. Chinese chefs get you in and out under one hour and it’s $89 so, it’s a good deal too.
