Came here because of its reputation, but Cha Yan Guan Se has been renamed Cha Baixi.. I don’t know why it is still called Cha Yan Guan Se.

I got the coconut mango milk and pink ombre. The coconut mango milk wasn't as sweet or strong in flavor as i had expected, it kinda just tasted like milk towards the middle :/ but the pink ombre was so refreshing i loved it

Spacious tea shop near Times Square with some indoor seatings. The menu includes a variety of options and prices are typical for NYC. I ordered the four season oolong milk tea with brown sugar boba. The tea is flavorful and the boba is sweet and perfectly chewy. Service was also very quick. There are a few self ordering kiosks inside for people who dont feel like talking.

This is one of my favorite tea shops in the Times Square area. I have tried others nearby but Modern area is great for me. I love the aesthetics inside and how much seating is available. They also have outlets if you're looking to have some ME time but charge your phone haha. I got the brown sugar boba milk (my usual) and it never disappoints. I got it with oat milk which is just .50 extra and it was creamy and delicious

I happened upon this place while wandering around from my hotel. It was very easy to order, and the person behind the counter was super nice and helpful. The tea (I had the black tea with pecan) was amazing! If I didn't have to leave the next day, I would be back. I'm so glad to have found such a great place near my favorite hotel!

Oriental Tea is a trademark infringement, the original brand name is “茶颜悦色”,and theirs is “茶颜观色” with an extremly similar logo. These people truly have no shame because they were sued in China, but instead of stopping their crimes, they choose to open here in the states. Do not go there!

Price and taste is a bit unbalanced. Not worth it.

Lots or of great options. In the theater district. Tasty tea but the boba is so soft that it's hard to suck up the straw and get stuck to the sides and edge of it. Also ask what's in the tea if you're like me and don't like a lot of extras. They don't say on the menu if it has other stuff in it. I got the Jasmine with peach jelly and it had all these flower and bit floating in it. Tasty but even harder to drink. I gave up 1/4 the way through. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you're in the area it serves.

It was cold and raining during our visit to New York, so my daughter and I stopped in to get some hot tea to warm up. We ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea & Peach Oolong Milk Tea. Both teas were very fragrant and we enjoyed them very much. To me, it tasted like high quality Taiwanese tea. Service was quick and the store was clean.

My favorite bubble tea place in NYC. During my trip here (5 days/4 nights), I came back here every day after dinner to grab drinks. Their tea aroma is just phenomenal and the creative drinks they come up with is just the cherry on top. I tried 2 drinks per visit, so 8 drinks total - all from their "best sellers" menu and they were all so yummy. You walk in and order at their lil machine and it takes about 5-10 mins. I can't wait to stop by obsessively again when I'm in NYC.

So delicious! We got our boba super fast and the cups were super cute. We got the brown sugar boba and it was so good. The workers and the restaurant itself are all very nice. We will definitely be back!

I stopped by after a Broadway show and was impressed by the unique flavors offered, some of which I've never seen at other bubble tea spots. There were no customers but a few people came in after I ordered via kiosk. The person who prepared my drink was very nice and made it very quickly. I tried the Jasmine Blossom, which was really interesting and delicious! The price is a bit up there and the size isn't fully worth the price but the tea was really good and unique enough that I was willing to let it slide. It has jasmine flower buds floating in it, which gave it an interesting flavor. I added mango poppers, which really enhanced the flavor. Overall, a great spot with cute decor and a fairly unique menu. I recommend checking it out if you're in the area. I plan to go back whenever I'm in the area.
