I came here this morning 4/12 and just had to leave a positive comment. All the ladies working were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back because of that alone. Coffee and almond croissant was so good. I also got the olive bread to try later today. Thanks for the positive energy this morning, made my day so much better.

I was extremely sad to see the store manager on the shift of Sat morning 3/30 push aside an older patron because he was taking his time. He asked if everything in the receipt was in the bag, she assured him that it was and send him away while asking the next customer for their order over his shoulder. She was extremely rude. The BEST part is this. The Manager then realized, the customer left part of his order on the counter and she told one of the store clerks “oh look! The old guy left this!”The Manager called the customer “the old guy” out loud in front of everyone. All I’m asking is a bit more of respect for your customers especially those who need more time at the counter. If this is a holiday season, your other patrons can wait, and you are over staffed, you can handle it. These patrons are the reason you have been surviving in the business all these years. But get this, it probably took a lot of effort for this person to leave the house to come to your establishment and maybe he doesn’t have someone to help him collect the package he left behind. You need to put the customer you have in front of you first before you move on the next one. These incidents are NEVER isolated. If it happened once I’m sure it’s happening to other people. Please respect your elders.

Amazing neighborhood bakery with sourdough bread, bagels and other conventional baked goods like donuts and cookies. The sourdough bagels are tasty and satisfying however if you want an authentic "NY bagel experience", I'd stick with one of the other places in the area.

So happy to find this cute, friendly, and very delicious neighborhood bakery and cafe. The staff was so nice and attentive. We saw a constant stream of neighborhood people, and you could tell this place is very well loved. The sour dough bagels are unique and were delicious. We both had toasted whole grain with tofu (!) cream cheese. I loved the California bagel, with thick slices of very fresh avocado, plus arugula. My partner had a NY bagel with smoked salmon. The bagel had a perfect crunch, yet also soft on the inside. It is sourdough, so doesn't give you that overly stuffed feeling you get with a "typical" NY bagel. I would choose these type of bagels any day, and wish we lived closer. Thank you Orwashers for a beautiful Sunday breakfast.

Bring back Sourdough bread instead of forcing the Heritage at us.... coy move to make people spend $2 more. Nice way to treat regular customer who were loyal.

Landmark bakery, variety of baked goods. I got there early on the Saturday before St. Pat's for their Irish soda bread, also got a big poppyseed hamantaschen for Purim. SOOOO NYC.?

The best-- EVERYTHING, no joke! I've had more than one person that has come to visit me, and after tasting my breads, cookies, babka, etc. from Orwashers, they ask me if I would ship them some, across the country! They're that good! The shop is cute, and their backed goods are glorious! But, a couple quick tips... 1). I recommend going earlier in the day, than later. Everything is fresh baked, and they seem to be quite efficient at baking only what they think they will sell that day, so it's usually slim pickings later in the day. 2). Like I said, EVERYTHING is amazing, you really can't go wrong. But if you only try one thing, make it the chocolate babka! It's HEAVEN, and perfect for those of us who like our sweets, not obnoxiously sweet. You're welcome;-)

Train your counter staff. Don't throw bags at the customers in sneer. West 81st. at 1:30 March 13. If I didn't want the bread I'd never come back.

I love the NY breakfast sandwich on a (really good!) bagel. And you cannot come here without getting a fresh, filled-to-order jelly doughnut (YUM!) Any pastry or bread I've tried here is delicious. Coffee is great. Prices are reasonable.

Hands down the best bagels out of New York. I purchased quantities and freeze so I've got fresh out of the oven bagels ready for cream cheese, salmon, capers and sliced onion shipped to JACKSONVILLE, Florida.

The food is delicious, they have the best Sticky Bun Babka in NY! The donuts and croissant are perfects. But some servers who work there are rude, normal for New York I guess. There’s no place to sit, it’s just take out.

I love orwashers. I highly recommend their focaccias and loaves of bread. Their coffee isn't anything to sleep on either, I love the Vietnamese coffee!

The almond chocolate croissant was stale for the second time... Disappointed - I was hoping the second time it would be fresh
