This a very good local spot on the UES. The food, service and ambience are all excellent. Do not go here expecting a gourmet meal... go there expecting an extremely satisfying French bistrot experience and you will be satisfied.. kudos to Nando and his staff... if you enjoy red meat do try the wonderful hangar steak...

Atmosphere & service were very good. We enjoyed the burrata & the pita was a nice warm accompaniment. We had the ongelet & halibut, both a bit overcooked, and a nice apple tart a la mode to finish. We enjoyed the meal for the most part but the overcooked mains were a disappointment. For the price you'd be right to expect better.

One of the hidden gem date night spots on the UES. Food is always fantastic, but even when it's packed you can hear who you're with. Plus it's gorgeous inside. Highly recommend and don't sleep on their 4-7 then 9-11 happy hours!

We went and had a simple lunch. I get the grilled chicken sandwich and my friend got a really good salad. The service was excellent they were very attentive. Would return for dinner next time and explore more of the menu

From the serene old school feel to the delicately prepared appetizers thru entree's and a final delectable dessert everything about our experience was perfect. Nando himself was onsite and had some good conversation. We shall be back.
The service was good considering they had two very large parties, but the food was AMAZING. I never write reviews, but this is a home run. We live in the area and have made this our new go-to.
We went to celebrate my friend's retirement. I had the filet mignon and my friend had the trout almondine, both were delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. I'd recommend this bistro.
Booked a reservation for 7:15. By 8:15 we hadn't been seated or given a good estimate for when the table would be ready. Left and went elsewhere. They did give us Prosecco during the wait which was appreciated.

The onion soup was great and well-seasoned. Beef bourguignon was delicious and a must-try in here. Didn't like the complementary tiramisu but it was nice for them to bring it as a nice gesture.

Very much enjoyed our dining experience at Osteria Nando. The only problem was deciding what to get! They have a very broad selection across 3 different types of cuisines but everything we had was great. Will definitely be back to try all the dishes we weren't able to this time.

Very disappointed in my experience with take out here. I called to order the croque monsieur and the short rib sandwich. I came to pick it up and they charged me $2 more for the croque monsieur than the price showing on their website. Then I waited over 15 mins for them to get me change when I paid for the order cash. Lastly, and the worst, was when I got home (after a 30 mins drive home!) I opened the bag and saw they they failed to give the fries and salad that comes with the short rib sandwich. We paid for something we did not receive and when I called they were pretty unhelpful and just said well do you want to come back for a refund? I am 30 mins away, no thank you. 1. They should have honored the pricing on their website. 2. They should have told me they will email me a voucher to use next time I come in. That would have made up for the unorganized mess of their cashier and their kitchen. I will not be going back here. The food was not even that great. It was just so so.
