Flew in and was tired, actually had reservations elsewhere, but cancelled it and went across the street from our hotel. 1 star for customer service and another star because the place almost looked like a very cute cafe from the outside. Food was definitely over priced and bland. Chicken noodle soup was over cooked or not sure how many days old, the noodle was soggy textured like dumpling soup. Gyro plate was ok, my friend had the chicken kabob plate which was very bland and the salad didnt look very appetizing. Will definitely not come back. Should have probably walked around and bought food off the food vendors on the street, but it was getting really cold.

I really am trying to think of something positive to say about this place but I simply can't. It's very overpriced for both the quality and quantity of the food. This was easily one of the worst restaurants I've eaten at in NYC. Usually I read other reviews before going to a restaurant but we were in a rush so we ate at one of the places close to our hotel. My dad ordered breakfast food for dinner and they advertised "home fries" but he was served literal french fries instead. I try and be pretty optimistic but please go elsewhere to eat.

Saturday 6.30pm stopped by given that the place was pretty empty and we were running from the busy times sq area+covid to just have a coffee. A convenient place, basically They were pretty accommodating given that we went with 2 strollers. We ordered: 2 Orange juices (size was quite small and not fresh squeezed), 2 coffee, 1 cafe au lait, 1 side of fries and one side of sausage (4pieces). Total bill $42 not incl tip. Too pricey for my point of view. Fries were the frozen ones but yet not crunchy, sausages were average. I don't think I will go back. Service was average. Waitress came to ask what we wanted to order without even give us a menu lol.

Came in here for some breakfast before a nice walk around the park on a beautiful morning. The service from start to finish was fantastic. Made sure we were ok, Refreshed and filled up before we left. The food was delicious. My partner had a fry up and I had corn beef hash with eggs and some frites. There was a real family feel in here which we really liked.

Excellent Food and Service! because of this very good and pleasant eating place that I visited. The waiter that served Pine Tree State at that time was pretty wonderful and accommodating. Besides, the foods and so the drinks that they served to Pine Tree State vogue delicious and sensible. i accustomed be truly overcome to be here. thanks very much!

Straight-forward, no-nonsense, ordinary diner food with the best location in town, reasonable prices, fast service.

yeesh. What a dud. This place was convenient. I'll give them that, but the food was nothing To write home about. Our visit started with the employees yelling at each other over seating. The food came fast way, way too fast and it showed. Corn beef hash out of a can and I couldn't even eat it. Bread was dry and barely toasted. Breakfast potatoes were mostly undercooked. And the coffee was truly terrible. All for the low low price of over $40 for two people. No, thanks, never again

For the Cafes in the area, Park Cafe is the best. The coffee is decent cafe coffee and the food has great flavor. For breakfast, make sure you get the sausages with your meal, they are yummy! The staff is friendly and service is quick!

As a Theater Lover, it doesn't hurt that this Wonderful place is near Carnegie Hall and City Center. The Food is absolutely delicious, and the Service alone is 5***** quality. Great Ambiance indeed.

It is really difficult to muck up a simple omelette even at home. How in the world can a supposed breakfast place create four separate types of (sorry to say but have to say) puke-inducing omelettes for four hungry people with no rush or crowd in the restaurant? At this absolute garbage disposal quality place, they can, and did, do it easily today. When even the coffee was so terrible that my friend who ordered it had to beg them to stop offering to fill the cup. The group ic four who took the table next to ours also did the same. The servers were pleasant, the grouchy owner was least bothered to see what the customers were experiencing. Biggest mistake was not looking at online ratings before the culinary crime against human taste buds.

We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, fried chicken and Caesar salad. Spaghetti had meat in some sort of broth but no actual red sauce, garlic bread was made from leftover hamburger buns. Fried chicken looked great but seemed to be previously deep fried then microwaved to reheat, was also dry. Caesar salad had croutons that were stale. This place is not inexpensive, your can do better for your money.
