The food was average. The dishes are overpriced. The restaurant is known for Peking duck. The steak dish we ate included hard to chew slices. The shrimp and lobster sauce was salty. The lomein dish was plain and lacked flavor. The noodle bowl was placed on the table when soup was served. After the soup was finished the noodle bowl was removed. I have been enjoying the duck house since 1979 and our most recent visit did not disappoint. Fantastic steamed pork dumplings and sesame chicken perfectly prepared. Delicious pork noodles too. As always, the peking duck steals the show....simply wonderful in every way. Perhaps it was an off day but the wait staff would do well to be more attentive to a table of 10 spending real money... but the food was the star, as it has always been.
