I was there in 2015 alone and in April 2019 with my family. Real pub atmosphere, convivial, frequented by New Yorkers. It may be that you find yourself chatting with a worker or a manager, or the same ones who talk to each other. Very friendly staff and good beers. Highlander, the “there can only be one” movie, was filmed here.This place is magical, many little things are well preserved in a way you wouldn't expect.Eileen at the bar was great, we had a good drink here and left completely satisfied.100% recommended!

Bartender greeted me like he wished I hadn't come in. Ordered a Guinness. He seemed more interested in the soccer game but did finally ask me if I wanted another. After the first pour he disappeared. Then I saw him once again watching the soccer. After a bit he came back, finished it off. After that I was pretty much ignored as he watched the game and took care of the regulars. I wanted to have food but it was clear I wasn't really welcomed and left.

The wife and I walked from 46th Street on Sunday evening to see what all the fuss was about and to take in the atmosphere in a pub of my dad's namesake.We were not disappointed as the atmosphere, food and a McManus ale in a tiny part of untouched NY made our day. Burgers were sublime.The staff were extremely friendly and we could have stayed for hours.The table covers even matched the colours of my home Gaelic football team, Drumbaragh GFC.Hope to be back.
Walked out of this bar after getting ignored by the bartender. Zero eye contact, waiting on everyone around us and it wasn't that busy. Too bad he was a racist p.o.s.

Food is always so so, the wait staff is always very nice. Good area to eat in the back and good atmosphere for a bar.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level. Door in the front and on the side.
We’re over from Ireland (for paddy’s weekend), staying in Chelsea, and after a long flight we stopped by for some burgers and a few scoops… and we were very surprised by how good the Guinness js and the burgers are just as nice. Great value for money and lovely staff… deffo stop by and check it out.

Bartenders seem to anticipate your drink order. If you want to have a flawless experience of getting absolutely wasted, do consider this off the beaten track. Ladies say bartender Lawrence is extremely handsome.

Good spot for burgers and drinks. Nice staff and the crowd is pretty chill. A nice mix of folks. They need to clean their water lines at the bar service though. Got water back and it tasted funky. Other than that I dig it.
