Best pho in the area! I had the grilled chicken pho and it was great. Finally a healthy food option at the Essex Market. There’s lots of seating and other spots to get coffee, something afterwards. Perfect for pre or post movie food.Dietary restrictions: Big wide menu for all needsWheelchair accessibility: Essex Market has an elevator

Flavors were good, but disappointed in the portion size here- would expect more from $16 shrimp vermicelli bowl, adorned with 4 shrimps, but the smallest amount of vermicelli I’ve ever been served when ordering this dish. The bowl is like the same bowl that could be used for an açaí bowl. Bun is my favorite Vietnamese dish and I order it often, usually surprised at how MUCH is given at a portion. Unfortunately not the case here, but flavors were on point. Was considering Ginger and Lemongrass a few blocks away - next time won’t hesitate!

We try our best to stop by Pho Grand Counter when we are in the city! My children love their grilled porkchop over rice. Their grilled porkchops are always flavorful. I usually order the shrimp fried rice and ask for more shrimp (extra charge). We also enjoy their Vietnamese spring rolls, vegetable spring rolls, and their summer rolls. Their Vietnamese coffee is great too!

Pho Grand Counter is a must-visit in NYC for authentic Vietnamese fare. Mick, one of the owners, ensures impeccable service, and the menu doesn't disappoint. From fresh summer rolls to flavorful pho and succulent pork chop - is outstanding. Prices are quite reasonable. A truly unforgettable experience that earns a well-deserved five stars!

The next best thing to eating at the other Pho Grand (on Grand Street). I had the vermicelli with shrimp (it came with the onion pickles!) and summer rolls (could have been more herbs inside). The food was fresh and average for decent Vietnamese food in NYC. The guy behind the counter was friendly, and the service was quick. I'm still looking for a great Vietnamese restaurant in NYC -- but Pho Grand counter is a solid option. I'd definitely eat here again.

Veg + Tofu Pho soup taste just water.Sorry if the traditional one is like that but to us, especially in the food court, I don’t think it the good choice. We had to put a lot of sauces and it just tasted sauce…
