I got a dinner with one other person and we got the crab rangoons (3) which were fresh tasting. Lumpia (5) some good notes of beef and herbs. And finally the fried chicken plate with bread and Sambal. The breading or fry were not executed to my liking, it is not crunchy and breaks off in awkward pieces from the meat of the chicken. Not really attached, adding texture, or flavor. With two specialty drinks from their menu we totaled to 100 dollars including tip. Okay.

Loved the vibe here from the moment we set foot inside and then the food and service just blew us away. The flavors of every dish that we tried was just amazing from the Thai Aguachile to the Korean Honey Butter Wings (best wings I’ve ever had) to the Fried Whole Fish…this is now our go-to place for any event at nearby Madison Square Garden!

World's greatest papaya salad. Still dreaming about it months later. Herby, tangy, crunchy, complex, with the smokiest grilled shrimp, and savory pops of dried shrimp. I literally can not recommend this dish more highly. Everything else was quite good as well — but this salad was the star of the show. The atmosphere and decor is stunning, the service was great, AND they give you a cute little pig to take home. Excellent brunch. What more can I say?

I would not call this fusion cuisine, but the clever and well matched flavors of the food & signature cocktails are outstandingly delicious. They are very thoughtful about food allergies and careful to help you avoid dishes that could cause you a problem. Service was excellent and courteous. Be forewarned, Trivia is on Tuesday nights and the sound clues hijack the sound system volume in an unpleasant pattern of extreme volume and rapid changes in what is playing. When trivia was finished, the vibe of the restaurant improved significantly.Dietary restrictions: The waiters have a good allergy food chart to help you avoid food allergies or other dietary restrictions.

First of all, I LOVE Pig & Khao. So I got super excited about Piggyback when my friend told me about it.I went on a Tuesday night with two other friends after work. The place's kinda got an upscale divey vibe (?)... The space is pretty big for a Manhattan establishment; it's packed but not crowded on a Tuesday night, with people enjoying happy hour or dinner, drinking, chatting.I feel the smaller bites / sides are definitely designed as drinking food. We got the lumpia, fingerling potatoes, and brussels sprouts. I personally find the brussels sprouts too salty / saucy, but the lumpia and the fingerling potatoes are on point, esp. the fingerling potatoes. For entrees, we ordered the fried whole fish to share and I later got the lamb rendang to go. Both dishes are very generously portioned and beautifully flavored. The coconut + lemongrass sauce on the fish + the mushrooms + the crispy fish skin + the tender fish meat = such a good bite. The lamb rendang is $42, which I thought was hefty at first but it turned out to be a huge block of meat and it's rendered 3 meals for me personally ? so I think it's very well priced.Overall, I'm excited to have Piggyback close to my work. I will be back!

Terrible. Basically Americanized pan Asian food. The fried chicken was way too salty on the outside and lacked flavor on the inside. Lamb was too saucey and over cooked. Drinks were fine, nothing special. If you are looking for authentic pan Asian food, you won’t find it here. But if you are looking for some kind of weird western/pan Asian fusion, this is the spot. Service was also slow and the lamb took 35mins to come out.

Loads of great things on the menu, but i think we chose poorly. The noodles we ordered had way too much sauce and was very overpowering, we also didnt love the goat with a lot of bones. Great service though!

We rented out the back private room for 26 people for an engagement party and everything was perfect! It was a pleasure working with Maddie ahead of time to coordinate this all and the night of everything went beautifully. We were even very difficult by having gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian guests and they were all accommodated perfectly. All of the staff were wonderful and very attentive/professional. Pig and Khao has always been one of our NYC favorites, and now we are glad to add Piggyback to our list of best places to eat!
