Pil Pil gives the complete dining experience! Tapas style allows you to explore a bunch of different dishes and flavors, and they know how to combine flavors! SUCH a cozy atmosphere too, feels like you’re dining in a vineyard. The service is warm and welcoming.The Pan con Tomate was a great starter — perfectly toasted with fresh tomatoes on top. Food 9/10Such solid tapas but also might be biased because I had a great time. Objectively, I do think it’s one of the best tapa spots in NYC. The shrimp was a little oily but the oil sauce with the bread goes crazy. The paella had a very generous amount of seafood, the octopus was very tender and flavored, and so was the manchego cheese. It is a good place, good food, excellent drink and a good red sangria, attention to the owner and bartender, excellent, highly recommended, a quiet, relaxing place and more than a very romantic and rustic place.
