My girl friend and I wanted to stop by a hotel lounge/bar before heading out to our typical spot on a Friday night. Glad we stopped by to check out what the Gansevoort has been up to. There's a little coffee/cocktail waiting area in the lobby when you first walk in. We headed to the roof to grab a cocktail and decided to stay inside. The view is great if you choose to sit outside. This is one of the coolest experiences I have had in New York City. The atmosphere here is unmatched. It is one of the most unique and stylish bars I have ever visited. If you are looking to impress someone, this is definitely the place to do it.
