I stumbled upon Point Seven and I’m glad that I did. Since I was only in mood for snacks, I sat at the bar.Service was great, very attentive…and the drinks. Wow. Such great detail — love a great cocktail. I ordered:• Lost At Sea (cocktail) - 10/10• 1/2 dozen East Coast oysters - 9/10 (they were very good, I’m pretty sure the WC oysters are a 10/10)• Cod Croquetas - 8/10Great place to bring friends to for dinner/drinks. Music selection was great (dk if the bartender had anything to do with that but the vibes were going, in a grown way)

The restaurant is lovely and so convenient to Grand Central. The service is A+, friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fabulous. We had the lobster roll which was delicious. Tell the staff to serve the mustardy aioli on the side. The lobster doesn't need it. The hazelnut chocolate was out of the world.

Really great addition to the neighborhood. I've eaten lunch and dinner several times and have not had anything but great meals. The service is attentive, but no overwhelming and the ambiance is perfect. Just a great new place.

This is my second time eating here. The menu is diverse and thoughtfully crafted. Allot of attention is paid to customer satisfaction and, given I have a fair number of allergies, the restaurant went out of its way on multiple levels to ensure I was safe in what I ordered and was served. Everything was fresh and delightfully prepared. I would highly recommend.

This was disappointing three of us shared 6 dishes.. very disappointing. The steak and burger were beyond rare we said medium. Everything was incredibly salty. We were hoping to welcome a new gem to the neighborhood but it seems they had some work to do in the kitchen.

I ordered the lobster roll and it was prepared with mustard - way too assertive a flavor to pair with lobster as lobster has a subtle flavor. I couldn't taste the lobster at all. A little less "innovation" an a little better flavor pairing is in order here!

Lunch was wonderful. Burgers Cooke to perfection and flavorful. Vegetarian burger was equally as wonderful. Salads generous in size and flavorful. Avocado salad in particular was excellent. Wait staff perfect. Even though they “impose” time limits we never felt rushed and the dining experience was truly amazing. The menu is extensive so looking forward to coming back and taking advantage of all the wonderful fish options as well.

Client: Let's call her Ms. M.Reservation: Ms. M.'s private concierge made the reservation, specifying an alpha-gal allergy (meat and poultry) and no cross-contamination allowed. However, the allergy wasnt communicated to the kitchenSeating DiscomfortM found herself uncomfortably squeezed between two other tables, which triggered her claustrophobia and detracted from the overall dining ambiance.Service DelayDespite having a reservation, M endured an unexpected 15-20 minute wait at the bar before being seatedInflexible PolicyDespite M's specific request to taste only 2 clams alongside her order of 6 west coast oysters, the waiter rigidly enforced a 6-clam minimum policy, showcasing a lack of flexibility and customer-centric approach to service. after a lengthy back and forth he offers to bring her one clamDebate Over East Coast vs. West Coast Oystersthe oysters were so tiny, M asked a passing server about their origin, who identified them as East Coast due to their size. However, the server who took M's order insisted they were West Coast, leading to a strange unprofessional exchange.Cold Swordfish Served to MThe swordfish, M's main dish, arrived cold, indicating a lapse in quality control and attention to detail in the kitchen, which detracted from the overall dining experience.Allergy Alert: Pork Gelatin in Dessert Not Communicated to MM discovered the dessert she ordered had pork gelatin in it, which she is allergic to, showcasing a failure in communication and ingredient awareness on behalf of the restaurant staff, potentially posing health risks to the diner. thankfully she cancelled the order before the dessert was brought to her table.Disappointing Virgin MojitoThe virgin mojito served to M contained an excessive amount of ice, detracting from the beverage's overall quality and presentation. the glass had more ice than the beverage itselfMention of Uncharged Clam by ServerAnd just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder, the server brings her the check, leans in with a whisper: "I didn't charge you for the clam!" Really, dude? The server's mention of not charging a $2.50 clam seemed trivial and unnecessary, highlighting a lack of focus on the overall guest experience and detracting from the professionalism of the service.Despite the series of mishaps and disappointing experience, M remained composed and tipped the server a generous 20%So, what's the damage? A whopping $152 for a solo meal, Overall? A dining experience that's as disappointing as a soggy burger on a rainy day. Welcome to the world of New York dining, folks – where every bite comes with a side of chaos!

The food was delicious and service was great. The whole dinner took a bit longer than i expected but we were talking too and I think the server didn't want to rush us. So overall experience was great. Will definitely go again.

Was better than expected - food (esp desert) was outstanding. Ambience fantastic. Close to GCS which was great for those of us who need to catch trains to the suburbs. Definitely coming back!

A stylish, elevated and date-appropriate place (also perfect for nice after-work drinks, lots of good looking people from midtown finance). The bar area is really spacious with a lot of counter seating and there are also 4-6 tables for 2-3 persons. Not tool loud so you an really have a conversation. The decor is modern and tasteful. There is also a spacious dining room in the back, which was quite empty (7pm on Monday).Prices are average for the area, but I wish they had drinks happy hour (we were told it is half price only for bar food). I want to be back for a dinner now.
