Before you go here you should know you can only buy 3 bagels w/ a side (butter, cream cheese, etc) for $12( you cant buy a singular bagel! There’s no bacon, egg bagels or anything like that! The only thing I didn’t like is that you had to cut the bagel open yourself with a wooden knife & put your cream cheese inside & the whole point of buying a bagel sandwich is that you don’t have to make it yourself ( if your on the go or anything) and here you have to, which I’m pretty sure that’s the whole point of the shop. But I might as well buy a 12 pack of bagels & butter at the store for less than $12 and do it at home because it’s the same thing.Anyways I stumbled upon this place & would definitely visit again because the bagels were delicious & crunchy! There was a line but it went super fast because all they do it throw the bagels in the bag & give you your side.

Classic bagel experience to new heightsAt "Pop Up Bagel," you've got to try their scallion cream cheese—it's amazing! The staff there are super friendly and nice. I totally recommend it!
The classic sauces were very good, sesame and everything were good, the plain was too plain for me, it should be consumed hot, it hardens when cold, the average size is not very big but it is enough.

There was a wait BUT it was quick! They’re sick a well oiled machine, that they keep everyone moving! So don’t be turned away from the line!Get them and have them right away because they’re the best HOT. So find a spot and munch away! Also you have to assemble everything on your own! So get those hands clean! And make sure you bring your fur baby for a cute photo. ???

Delicious bagels. ‘The everything’ is the one - amazing combination of sweet & salty. We got them with scallion cream cheese to dip them into
Bagels are good, but we waited 45 minutes and the customer service was awful. They forgot our order and wouldn’t admit it, and wouldn’t do anything to compensate.

$4 a bagel is already a crime, but I have to say the "bread" reviews are correct. It does not taste like a bagel, more like a roll

My favorite bagels in the city. Not super dense, great schmears, and friendly staff. Wish the UWS one will open soon.
4.5I LOVE THESEEive eaten many nyc bgels and these are so great fresh (not sure about if you leave them out a bit) and the cream cheese is also so good (and you get a lot with it)the only complaints i have are that they lack variety of options compared to other bagel shops and that you cant buy individual bagels (3 or more required)

I think breakfast is overhyped in New York, but Popup Bagels is worth a try. At first, I thought the line was so long that we’d wind up waiting for 20+ minutes. However, there were two workers that helped you with your order before you got to the cashier to make it more efficient. They write your order on the paper bag (which bagel, what schmear, and how many). We wanted to try two schmears and found that the extra schmear costed $7. The most basic option they have is 3 bagels and 1 schmear for $12, which I think is an adequate bagel to schmear ratio. We tried the vegetarian and scallion spreads, and both were flavorful and thick. But after the first few bagel dips into the spreads, it started tasting the same. I’m not sure if I am a fan of the rip and dip bagel method since it creates such a mess with all of the dropped toppings (but hey that’s food for the birds I guess). I think the everything bagel was the best one to try though. It was crunchy and tough on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Bagels are constantly made fresh throughout the day and it showed when I held a warm bagel to eat.

Excellent bagels. Would recommend the maple syrup butter. Three bagel minimum is a really random rule.
