WAY too expensive for what you get. $18 for HALF of a veggie sandwich and a SMALL cup of soup. Usually a soup that costs $9 is a large. I’m literally still hungry after spending $18 on lunch. Also, because everything is premade you can’t customize anything which is unfortunate because a lot of the sandwiches look really good but because I don’t eat cheese/dairy I can’t eat any of them. Positives are the food is pretty fresh, healthy, tastes good, and I like most of the menu options.

This chain offers healthy grab & go items for those in a rush. Some branches have nice seating and restrooms--but this branch is small, no seating or restrooms--for takeout only. Because this branch is small, the chances of their vegan items being scanty or even all sold out is greater than in larger branches. In all, the only reason to go here is if you want something right away and happen to be passing by.
As the other reviewer noted, by the way, the Pret's in the UK indeed tend to be much better than the ones in NYC.

I love Pret in general, the fact that they donate food daily, vegetarian options, amazing croissants (move aside Pain Quotidien)… but I love the team in this particular one (42/3rd). Keep up the good work!

This place is disgusting ? the service is very rude and the fruit are not fresh

Nothing like pret in UK - very few vegan options. Not good

Good place to pick up lunch or breakfast. Love the sandwiches.
Great selection, speedy service. Not a lot of people at the time I came, 2pm, but the selection was good.

Just had the Egg & Bacon Brioche. Extremely salty, dry and I think I detected some egg shells. What happened to Pret??? They used to be good! Bring back the egg salad and roasted tomatoes on a baguette breakfast sandwich

Pick up, pay, and go. It's that simple.

The Pret A Manger on 52nd and Lexington Ave is very nice! It has good seating space and the music is not to loud!

There’re some tasty salads which look healthy to me. Also you can find a soup and juice suitable for your taste. I personally like only salads at this store as most of soups have starch in them. Plus ome star for restrooms
