I just found this gem in Harlem and let me say I am thoroughly impressed. First, the Yemeni tea is extremely good. No need to add anything. Secondly, the amount of food that you get for money is a great deal. I had #21 Aqdat Dajaj (Curry Chicken) w/Basmati Rice and a side of Naan bread (it was huge). You also receive soup and a mini salad before the actual entree. I left there stuffed and satisfied. The space is very quaint and somewhat intimate. It’s a must try!! And it’s Halal!!!Vegetarian options: There are about 13 vegetarian dishes to choose from.

Unassuming place for some delicious middle eastern food prepared Yemeni style. Had the lamb shank and stewed veggies. Meals come with lamb broth soup, salad, and finished with Yemeni spice tea. Delicious and can’t wait to try more.

Happened by this spot walking the neighborhood and couldn’t have been happier. Adel and the team here are incredibly hospitable and cook up the best Yemeni food I’ve had in the borough. Tons of options for meat eaters and vegetarians, too.

I've gone in for lunch a couple of times, the sandwiches are priced very well, the quality of the food has blown me away, service is quick, and the lobby area is clean and nice. Definitely give these nice folks a shot if you're in the area, it rocks.

Let’s support Yemeni businesses as Yemen has shown they are beacon of solidarity. I used to go here all the time when I lived in the neighborhood. The food is amazing, prices affordable, and vibes cozy and home-y. Big fan of their mushakal bilforn.

They cancelled my order on grubhub with no reason and when we went to go to the actual restaurant on Friday we saw it was closed at 6 instead of 10pm like adversed. -20 points from House Sheeba

This place is closed. If it's not, the information that it gives is very misleading. Yesterday(8/21), it was listed to close at 10pm. I arrived just a little before 5pm and all the gates were down. I attempted to call the restaurant and the number was out of service. ???

Wow!! Floored! The food we ordered from Queen Sheeba by delivery was made with care and nourished our souls and bellies after a long day of travel. My favorite by far was the small paper cup of Shorba Soup ("Yemeni style. Made of natural barley." $2.99). The texture and consistency of porridge, this stew included very soft, well-cooked barley, which may have been partly pureed, tomato, and possibly a bit of meat, all flavored with warm spices. I detected quite a few spices common to Indian cuisine, as well: cumin, coriander, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper. This is the kind of soup I want when I'm sick. It's certain to cure what ails you! Split lentil soup ($2.99), which also came in a small paper cup -- the kind that NYC delis often use for coffee -- was another strong showing, made with tomato and onion. The broth was a bit overly oily and salty, though, and for anyone who needs to know, it was likely not vegetarian. Vegetable-deprived, we ordered Mushakal Bilforn (baked vegetables; $12.99) but I'm pretty sure we actually received Mushakal Adie (stewed vegetables; $12.99). No matter. The mix of tender, stewed eggplant, squash, potato, green peppers and carrots we received hit the spot. Our "large" Aqdat Dajaj (boneless chicken cooked with assorted vegetables, onions, tomatoes and spices; $14.99) was in truth not very large, as our container included mostly rice with a small ladle of stewed chicken. But what we received was delicious -- tender, moist, vegetable-centric stew -- made almost certainly from scratch. We ordered Lahm Sughar (Small chunks of boneless lamb or beef, cooked with fresh assorted spices onions and tomatoes; $16.99) with lamb and hummus, but received beef, instead. This was the only dish we all disliked. The hummus was great; the beef was overly salty, full of tendon, and overcooked by our standards. Sambosas ($3.99) were remarkably similar to Indian "cocktail samosas" -- the small triangular kind made with thin pastry -- not only in shape and size, but also in spicing (cumin, cardamom). The ones we ordered were filled with ground beef. Our food came with wonderful homemade pita bread, which was crispy and sometimes charry in parts, tender and fluffy in other parts. I loved the textural variation -- just like what you find in a good Bavarian soft pretzel! -- and that it was probably made in a real taboon. We also received several small containers of spicy sahawiq, a condiment remarkably similar to Mexican salsa verde. I loved the sahawiq so much that I practically drank it despite the garlic / onion breath it gave me for days after. We aren't terribly happy about all the unsanctioned substitutions -- but the food is too good to stay away. The vegetable dishes on the menu look so amazing that I want to try each and every one.

Can't go wrong with anything! Babaganoush is the greatest I've ever tasted. Try the ground lamb stew and stewed chicken. Freshly baked bread for all courses. Yemen tea has incredible flavour. Fantastic!!!

Delicious food with a friendly owner! We were warmly seated. We ordered the combination platter with hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel and tahini - and a warm fresh baked pita! Absolutely yummy! I'll come back just for the Yemeni tea - fragrant with spices. My Shorba with barley hit the spot on a dreary rainy day. The mixed veggies with yellow rice was v good too. Very reasonably priced. Overall, fantastic!
