We came to watch a football match and grab a late lunch. Jack was amazing. He got us seated at the bar and changed a tv to the football match we asked for! My husband got a beer based off of his recommendation, a slam dunk! Jack also crafted me a mocktail that was fabulous. We ordered schnitzel and finished with an apple strudel. We loved our experience here and recommend it highly!

Upon stumbling upon Reichenbach Hall while navigating the maze of NYC streets in search of Grand Central Station, my senses were immediately tantalized by the promise of German beer and cuisine. It was as if the heavens themselves were beckoning me inside. Entering the establishment, my boyfriend and I were greeted by Jack, a shining beacon of hospitality in a city known for its brusque demeanor. Jack's warm welcome and insightful recommendations set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the real star of the show: the food. I opted for the Paprika Rham Schnitzel, and with each succulent bite, I was transported back to my days in Germany. The portion size was generous, with a piece of meat that could have easily doubled as a pillow. And yes, I shamelessly licked my plate clean, savoring every last morsel of the refreshing cucumber salad. Meanwhile, my boyfriend indulged in the Mixed Bratwurst Plate, a symphony of flavors that whisked him away to the imaginary summers spent in a random Oma's kitchen. Each bratwurst was a masterpiece in its own right, accompanied by a potato salad that was nothing short of perfection. From start to finish, every bite at Reichenbach Hall was a celebration of authentic German cuisine. It's not just a restaurant; it's a portal to the gastronomic delights of Deutschland, nestled right in the heart of the Big Apple. And with staff like Jack leading the charge, it's clear that kindness and hospitality are alive and well in New York City. In conclusion, if you're craving a taste of Germany without the airfare, look no further than Reichenbach Hall. Prost!

The atmosphere was great. Our bartender, Jack was phenomenal and made great recommendations based on our party's tastes. He was also able to customize a drink to suit the taste of 2 members of our party. This place also has cider which is acceptable for those with a gluten allergy--the cider was delicious! Overall, I would 110% recommend making this a part of any Manhattan adventure!

Hard to beat the vibes, good spot for German bier in liter steins. Food ain't good, but I guess that's technically authentic
The chicken schnitzel was delicious and the portion was enormous; it could have fed two people. I was hoping to take home leftovers but I got distracted talking with other folks in the large group I was with and the waitstaff cleared it after a while- don’t make the same mistake!

"Nein" Completely weird fake German beer hall. So many better and authentic experiences on the East side. In fact this whole area pretty much sucks. Avoid it This is not NY level service. It's both annoying and slow. An impossible feat managed by simultaneously asking someone what they want to drink immediately as they sit down and you are handing them them an extensive menu, when they obviously came into this bar for a wide variety of German beers, not some pedestrian choice. Then, you ignore them for 10 minutes and go talk to your coworkers. There is something very fake about the decor. It looks like a Disney attempt at a German Beer Hall. The beer selection is good though and they have large, traditional steins sizes of German beers -- 1L, 1/2 L, etc

I don't often give 5 stars but this restaurant is worth it.The staff was super friendly and the food arrived quickly. We really felt as if we were in a restaurant back in Germany. They even had German music playing in the background. The food was amazing! The Schnitzel was crispy and juicy and the mushroom gravy from another planet. The fries could have been a little more crispy but they still tasted delicious.So.. to be honest.. the food they served there was better than in one of the restaurants back in Germany. And that's saying something.

Dawa is an amazing host and gives us the best service. He remembers the regulars by name and always has a huge smile on his face. The outstanding service is the primary reason we come here twice a week!
