From the moment you step into Rosemary’s in the heart of the West Village, you’re swept up in a warm embrace of rustic charm and vibrant energy. This delightful spot isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience, woven into the fabric of its neighborhood.Let’s talk about the drinks first. The Blood Orange Margarita is a standout, perfectly balancing the sweet tartness of blood orange with the sharpness of tequila, rounded off with a hint of lime. It’s not just a drink; it’s a refreshing revelation, ideal for sipping on their sunlit patio while watching the West Village world go by.Moving onto the food, the Chicken Milanese is a masterpiece of texture and taste. The chicken is pounded thin and breaded to perfection, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. The arugula and cherry tomatoes on top add a fresh, peppery note that cuts through the richness, making each mouthful perfectly balanced. But perhaps the true star of the show is the Prosciutto Focaccia. This dish is an ode to simplicity. The focaccia, airy and soft with a crisp exterior, pairs wonderfully with the salty richness of the prosciutto. It’s a combination that speaks to the heart of Italian cooking—high-quality ingredients, treated with respect.Rosemary’s isn’t just about great food and drinks; it’s about the atmosphere. With its open, inviting space and rustic décor featuring reclaimed wood and hanging greenery, it feels both contemporary and cozy. The staff’s attentiveness and warmth mirror the care put into each dish and drink served. In conclusion, Rosemary’s is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful culinary experience in New York City. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, make sure to stop by—you won’t be disappointed. Five stars without hesitation!

Great service, really nice vibes in the dining room. Had some apps, the garden martinis and the chopped salad. Everything was flavorful.

We dined in one of the outside dining books, which was great. Seems a little loud inside, but the food is excellent.

I did not feel good after having dinner here. Service was also not great. Risk-reward and price-performance is pretty low. Definitely do not recommend

Lovely place in Village for lunch. There were three of us for lunch-long time friends catching up. Our server was pleasant and the food was delicious. Look forward to going back.

Food - we ordered the milanesa, carbonara, risotto, and the branzino. The food was just regular. Nothing worth going out for. The carbonara was good. The only item we ordered that was worth our while. Drinks - don't even think about it. Drinks are not even filled. We ordered aperol spritz and it barely had prosecco and soda. We had to request more soda. Without mentioning that it was half full with three cubes of ice. Ambiance - the place is really cute specially for a night with friends. But the food and the drinks really deter me from coming back. It's truly a shame that this place has such mediocre food and drinks.

I booked a reservation for 5 guests on Saturday night this weekend at Rosemary’s in the East Village. We showed up about 7 minutes late to our 7:15pm reservation. We called when we started to hit every red light in the cab over and was told by the hostess that they would hold the table for 15 minutes and that it was no problem. We got to the restaurant at approximately 7:22pm, and we were seated right away. The hostess had let us know that we needed to be up by 8:45 for another reservation. We said okay, no problem. The waitress came and took our drink orders (that took so long to come out) and then also asked for appetizers while she took our drink orders. It took a long while for everything to come out.Right when the appetizers were brought out, she asked to take our entree orders. We were not ready, we had not even had a bite of our appetizers yet. Because we were not ready, she had reminded us that they needed to table at 8:45.Then we did not see her for even a longer while until another woman came to us asking how our night was going. We replied good and she then let us know for the third time now that we needed to put our entrees in immediately so that we would be up by 8:45.We still did not see the waitress for another 10/15 minutes after this interaction. Finally, our orders were taken and we ate our food. Workers were asking to box our leftovers / started cleaning up our table right as finished eating. The check was dropped. We paid and off we went.We were hosting our friends over from Australia and were so embarrassed by being rushed out by this place. We felt like we couldn’t even enjoy our time, and drinks/food because we were being pressured to finish up ASAP. We understood the 8:45pm reservation was coming in after us, but we were not given the opportunity to order in a timely manner due to the lack of service we received from our waitress. Maybe they should block out some more time between reservations….Meanwhile, a table next to us that was already there before we had sat down was not rushed once.Needless to say, if you want to enjoy a dinner with nice conversation and without being rushed out the door, don’t come here. - check out Roey’s instead! We checked out Roey’s for some additional drinks and desserts since we were so rudely rushed out of Rosemary’s. Roey’s was fabulous!!!

Very nice Italian place with excellent staff. They were very helpful in accommodating us (party of 8!) in very short notice. The food was really high quality, both the ingredients and the presentation. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is also very lovely, classy and warm. Great place for a date or a get together of any kind. Thank you very much. very much.
