I specifically picked this restaurant out for it's gluten free recommendations. I tried the GF mozzarella sticks which were actually very good! I also got one of the 12" pizzas and while the toppings were incredible, the GF bread was too doughy on the inside. Next time I'd try a pasta but pass on the GF pizza.

Tie-Dye is quite possibly the best pizza I have had in NYC and I've had a lot. Clams...fantastic. Any of the pastas are awesome. We loved the Lumache with vodka sauce. Stuffed artichoke might choke Artie but it ain't gonna choke Stymie. Service was great. We were given a wait time of 1h 15 to 1h 30 and it ended up being 1h 15 on a Saturday around 1pm. Perfect amount of time to stroll around the neighborhood and check out Godfather location sites. Don Corleone and Pete Clemenza would love Rubirosa. They have many offerings you can't refuse.

First time trying Rubirosa! It was recommended from a friend and I am glad I made a reservation prior to coming here. The restaurant was packed even on a weekday. The inside is a lot spacious than what it looks like from the outside. I tried the tye dye pizza and the bianca pizza split half half. The pizza did take a while to come out, but it was worth every single bite. The crust was thin and had the perfect amount of sauce. They have small soda bottles which I thought was cool. The service was pretty good considering how busy it was. I would recommend making a reservation a week in advance or come early.

Seriously most amazing staff. Had a last minute big catering request and they absolutely took care of everything for me, even packaged items seperately so nothing spilled and nothing perished. The manager Michelle and the hostess whose name is also Michelle are the KINDEST and most ACCOMMODATING ladies. Also the food is absolutely AMAZING and for the price too! Thank you again for the wonderful service and kindness. Highly recommend Rubirosa if ever you are in NYC.

This place has such a cute aesthetic, and the food was so tasty. The Tie Dye pizza is definitely worth the hype. We ordered a small pizza and individual sized pasta, which was the perfect amount for 2 people. They also sell jars of their pasta sauces, which is perfect to take home!

Finally got a chance to try this place and loved it, not a hot take I know.I do wanna say for anyone who said they weren't that impressed...one of the great things about Rubirosa is they bring out their food fresh and piping hot. Because I have no self control, I bit right into the rising steam. The food tasted average then, but how good could it taste when you're actively burning your pallete? Three minutes later, food tasted amazinggggg. So maybe you too were like me and couldn't wait, because this place is delicious. Just a theory, ok bye!

every dish we ordered was so delicious. i appreciate how they timed everything to be served when you’re ready so nothing gets cold. the lasagna was so rich with incredible flavors, and i loved the simple but rich taste of the ravioli. their pizza is obviously not a skip. the flavors and thinness of the crust is to die for.
