This place was horrible. I don't even know why I came here because I'm allergic to salt. When I got seated the waiter gave me this weird-looking salt juice. I drank it anyways and it tasted like a mutated baby's vomit. I went to the bathroom to throw up. When I went to wash my hands, it was salt water. I was so grossed out. When I ordered my usual entree, a pizza topped with sour patch kids, toast, and cake with stuffed crust filled with milk and jelly. For some FREAKING REASON, they replaced all my toppings with salt and filled the stuffed crust with salt. I was so pissed that I didn't even pay and left.

I ordered in for the second time tonight. The first time the burger was excellent. I was really surprised at how good it was. Tonight, the burger was dry, overcooked, arrived with no cheese or sauce. It was so awful I had to double check I had ordered from the correct place. Unfortunately I won't be ordering from here again.

I rarely write reviews. But their Wagyu beef with the blue cheese ranch made in house was truly a delight. They provide gloves so that it’s less messy. Overall a dinner with finesse and tastiness.

The burger had a tangy-lemony taste, and the texture was rubbery. The buns felt brittle, and the fries were, well just fries. There's also a cold smell, like one coming from a meat storage unit, that bellows through every 5-10mins. We moved seats to avoid it but the smell lingers throughout.

No wait time. Food was good. My husband and I got the Try Me Burger with fries. The still bottled water was a fancy touch too. Felt like I was in Europe but with ice lol. The black thing in the pictures is a glove to wear while you eat but we did not use them. I also took a picture before leaving and had to share.

I tried burgers and meat in Istanbul earlier, and I was not impressed. Because of my friends, I decided to give him a second chance. An even bigger disappointment... We took the “Juicy” and the “New York burger”. If you are choosing between the two, definitely choose New York, because at least you will get some taste. Juicy is, as its name suggests, "juicy", but without any taste. The burger comes with fries, which are ok. As a side dish, we took additional truffle fries. Nothing special, fries sprinkled with some truffle seasoning, but it was still the tastiest for us. We had much higher expectations from Saltbae, but obviously the name sells everything. I believe that we would have eaten much tastier burgers in any other burger house.

Burgers were just ok, nothing special two star maximum. Service was very slow and not very friendly. The place was cold, both temperature and ambience wise. There was only one guy flipping burgers for the whole place, so the service was slow and thre were two mistakes in our order. Five guys have better fries. Disappointing overall.

Had a terrific burger here for lunch. Got the namesake SaltBae Burger that has blue cheese and fried onions, and it was amazing. Also big boxy French fries done perfectly. Very friendly service team too. I'll be back.

I’ve been here more than a few times and have always had a wonderful experience. I generally get the Saltbae burger which comes with seasoned fries for $19. The sandwiches are all pretty decent but my favorite is still the wagyu Saltbae burger. This is not at all expensive in NYC. I love coming to this place because you can generally find a very good burger and don’t need to book in advance. Service has also been pretty good and the ambiance is good too. Overall 10/10 highly recommended and I’m definitely coming again.
