Service was slow, the restaurant had 4 tables already served, the server Ronnie M is sulky and inattentive. They take the clientèle for granted as they can rely on Sotheby’s. The food was as average as the service.

Food was mediocre , a very average Baratta caprese salad, no pepper offered, no olive oil. Luckily some olive oil was poured on a side dish to eat with the dry bread I decided to ignore.

Really like this franchise. They offer a European influenced menu for beverages as well as food and pastries. Sotheby's location is great for a quick snack and beverage before or after viewing the auctions or just passing by.Their pasties are great and coffee is strong and well prepared.Great options for non alcoholic beverages available as well.

An excellent place where you can taste many delicacies

Pricy but decent. One star subtracted refers to an eyelash on the napkin under my sandwich, which I decided not to care about, in this town where there are 160,000 refugees.

A lovely cafe just adjacent to Sotheby's auction house. Upon entering, a hostess will greet you and seat you. The cafe is quaint and has a nice ambiance. I was lucky to score a comfy banquette seat vs the regular table and chairs. When my lunch arrived, the sun just peeked through the windows and flooded my table with light. The cafe sells bistro style fare: croissants and other baked goods, petite sized sandwiches, salads and soup. This visit, I ordered a really delicious fruit salad (every piece was sweet...), a toasted turkey and cheese sandwich which came with salad on the side. It was a lovely meal. I ordered the Americano coffee and it was good. I'm rarely on York Avenue but this was a real treat especially in a neighborhood where there are more medical buildings than food establishments. So this was a nice find.

Saint Ambreous makes you feel important which is always nice. This isn’t the cheapest coffee shop but they have good coffee/tea and some other treats if needed. This location is connected to the southeby’s building and you enter through the main entrance. I would come back but not running here!

I the oatmeal, the chichiricci at lunch and all the coffees and tea are delish. It is a place where you feel comfortable eating alone when visiting people at the various hospitals. Delightful and I haven't even tried the pastries yet! !

Location is a little intimidating to walk into because it's Sotheby's, but if you walk in and go straight to the right--you're there in the little tucked away cafe. Pro tip: there's a sign that says Please Wait To Be Seated, but you can go straight to the register if you're going to get Take Away. Got a decaf latte (good) and their signature chocolate cake which was so rich I couldn't finish it. Not a bad thing, but just a testament to its chocolate-ness. Service was a little checked out, but it was a rainy day, so I don't blame them. Definitely want to go back and check out the more savory options. I love knowing this location is here.

This Sant Ambroeus location is definitely hard to pass up! Conveniently located within Sotheby's auction, anyone can grab a cup of coffee after perusing some auction items. I came here to order my usual grilled vegetable panini and throughly enjoyed its elegant atmosphere, with its booths and light bluish-green tables. The only drawback was the extended wait time for the waiters to take your order and deliver it. Whenever I'm in the area, it's essential that I come here and you should too!

I love Sant Ambroeus. It begins and ends there. This location is adorable and they added table service. You can get a delicious sandwich for lunch or stick with the coffee and treats. Seriously, you can't go wrong. The staff is extremely friendly and the coffees are delish. We had the Sant Ambroeus which is a cappuccino with chocolate and the Viennese coffee (which looks like creme brûlée) which is cocoa powder on top of a cappuccino. Totally delicious!!!
