I go here very often, food is affordable and good. The two regular chefs David and Pedro are really good and hard working guys. I come in sometimes really late at night and sometimes really early. They always got me. The guys at the register are also cool. I give it 4 stars because i feel like some snacks are more expensive than usual and the cashier dudes sometimes just throw a random number they just made up for certain products.
What's there not to like about Santiago's, the local bodega/deli. This is my go to spot for sandwiches in the area. It's open 24/7 and they're usually pretty quick. I'm a big fan of their chopped cheese sandwich and their Philly cheese steak sandwich. You can't beat it at 5 bucks. Don't waste your money on a disgusting downward dog tasting dough of a sub from Subway. Go to Santiago's instead. One of the last remaining "bodegas" in the neighborhood. Most of the stores are now Deli's. It's a no frills bodega, they make some hot food, such as sandwiches.
