Says it closes at 8pm and the door is locked and no one in there at 5pm. ?

We walked inside Chelsea Market early Saturday morning & only few stores opened (including Sarabeth’s). Since my kiddo was hungry, I bought a cheese danish for my kiddo. The danish was flaky and the cheese filling was plenty. It was just enough sweetness. Overall, it was a good breakfast item.

Thank you, next! Pound cakes were so dry and not tasty. Look elsewhere! Service was slow and it was empty. The woman took forever to even acknowledge me or tell me to hold on.

The cake was kinda dry, and when i asked for more cream i got the attitude, not sure why.Price really doesn't reflect the poor quality of the products, not recommended

When we returned after a few years we noticed with regret that the quality had worsened. The Ginger Pecan Pie no longer memorable, the coffee terrible. The location inside the Chelsea Market is always very beautiful with the exposed bricks and the retro style. One thing that left me perplexed, I paid for takeaway drinks with my card and they presented me with a receipt and tip pen, something they didn't ask anyone before or after me, even though they had made similar purchases. Now, the request for a tip for takeaway is increasingly frequent in NY but I found it anomalous that only me was asked for it... the only foreigner.

It didn’t have the same feeling as before. The coffee was too bland. The taste of the beans was not bad, but there was too much water in the milk foam. It seems like the barista’s expertise has significantly decreased.

Visited this place on a food tour - came back for more! The biscuits are the best you'll ever have - buttery, soft, salty. These "jams" are unlike what you find anywhere else. They are rather fruit spreads. No added pectin and not too much sugar, the result is very fruit forward rather than overtly sweet. As we shopped for all the flavors we wanted, Sarabeth herself came by to help us choose. She explained which batches were better and why and what her personal favorites are. Very cool experience. Also the shortbread is unreal. Some of the best I've ever had for sure. Perfect on their own, also good with the jams. This is a do not miss.

Tried one of their Banana Muffins, it was not fresh first of all but dry, too dense and heavy. Too much flour used in the dough and very little banana in it.Probably one of the worst I've ever had...and it's almost $4!If you call yourself a bakery it shouldn't be that difficult to get it right.

Sarabeth's Bakery exudes charm, making it a delightful culinary destination. The Chelsea Market Egg Sandwich and the Goldi-Lox Egg Sandwich I savored were nothing short of delectable, making for an outstanding breakfast experience. It was my second visit to this gem of a bakery. While the interior seating options are limited, the availability of outdoor seating just outside the market adds to the overall appeal, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

The egg lox bagel was disgusting…I could not eat it. The front cashier forgot 1/2 the order and didn’t even acknowledge us when we asked about it…disappointed. Too many good places around avoid.
