Good ambience cafe speciality on Thai dessert. Warm tone vibes and afternoon tea can be fulfilled your day after lunch.Dessert isn’t too sweet. It would be better if everything in menu is available daily.

I made a reservation for afternoon tea for 2 which was a new experience trying Thai desserts that are art. For me, I only like mung bean cake, pandan cake, and coconut layer cake. Everything was nicely presented but I am just not a fan of it but it is a nice place for girls gathering.

Lovely little Thai Dessert place for afternoon tea or just a little sweet kick. The items here are heavily coconut and rice flour based, so for those looking for chocolate cake this is not it. We really enjoyed everything and the value is great compared to other high tea places. The staff here were so sweet even though we had two rambunctious 4 year olds with us. Everything is so beautifully made you almost don’t want to eat it.

Highly recommend trying this unique Thai afternoon tea! It is $65 for a set for 2 people and you get to try many unique desserts. I enjoyed most of them and were surprised that a couple of them are savory too. The presentation was beautiful and you can tell the staff took a lot of time assembling each one. One tips is to add the list afternoon tea dessert assortment to the website (it's hard to remember which one is which after the staff explained it). I also didn't know the pricing until I got there so would be great to have that too. The size of the desserts are not great value but is a truly unique experience to try once!

Came here for tea service. Wasn’t a ton of food for the cost. Desserts were delicious, Would come back and just get a tea and singular dessert to sit in the window seat they use in all their instagrams. Our tea set was in the back room which is not very

the khanom krok was the highlight of the visit. The waitress offered some complimentary cookies for the long wait of the khanom krok. It was worth the wait. If you are reading this at the restaurant and it is not thursday, you gotta come back on a Thursday because it is only available on Thursday. The pumpkin was alright, nothing too special. We made a reservation for the visit and we were seated right away. The inside atmosphere was nice. Feel free to bring a date or hang out with friends here

What a sweet treat and fun surprise! After only having tried English-style afternoon teas, this Thai-style tea set was such a new experience for us - each set comes with a variety of Thai desserts (mostly in the form of a jelly or steamed cakes) to complement Jasmine and Green teas. These desserts are the perfect "not too sweet" level - I really enjoyed the steamed pumpkin cake and mung bean cake. If you want to try the afternoon tea set ($65 for one tower for 2 people), make sure to reserve in advance! We were very thankful for the accommodations the Sarisa staff made for us.

This place was so cute and so welcoming. The food for their tea time was delicious and it made the experience very fun. We reserved a table and when we got there we had a table with our name card on it. It took about 20 minutes for the tea to be prepared but it was a cute place to sit and just talk with your friends. They explain each of the desserts and give recommendations on which ones to try first. I would definitely be back for other pastries they have.

I had heard about this cute spot for afternoon tea and Thai desserts at this little cafe on Instagram (and a friend also sent it to me on Twitter), so I'd been wanting to try this whenever I visited New York. This place did not disappoint - the desserts and setup was so cute, which is exactly what I expected from afternoon tea. But not only being cute, the desserts were good and I had fun trying them. I enjoyed a pumpkin cake, mung bean jelly, and so many of the other things we tried. The staff was also friendly and attentive - good service in a beautiful space.

My friend and I made a reservation for the afternoon tea for 2 at 7pm on a Friday. They only have the afternoon tea from Friday-Sunday, so be aware if you are interested in this experience! The reservation time is also an hour, so it would not be the place for a long catch-up. There is a really cute space for larger parties, and then two tables on the side. A larger party had booked at the same time, so we were relegated to the less fancy tables. The tea set is $65/party of 2 or $32.50/person. When the set was served, the waitress explained each thing to us, but we did not even remember what was what directly after she explained it. We took our best guesses based on the menu. The reason for this is because the flavors are pretty repetitive. If you want to do this, make sure you like coconut, starchy flavors like pandan or taro, and mung bean. I happen to thoroughly enjoy all those flavors, but I was still expecting a bit more variety. However, the set looked beautiful, and the designs on the jellies were very pretty. For me, this is a nice experience for the gram and to eat fancy dessert with tea. My friend and I agreed that we are glad we did it, but we would not go back. Out of context, I think the price is definitely not worth it, but for a fancy evening experience in midtown, I think $32.50 is fair. Because of the time limit, I would recommend it as a supplement to a date or similar occasion. However, they also have a separate area for people who are getting a la carte dessert, so if you want to splurge on less items, that is also an option.

Ever had Thai dessert afternoon tea? Sarisa Cafe is a Thai dessert shop located on the 2nd floor of Little Thai Kitchen restaurant in Midtown. They specialize in made-from-scratch Thai desserts that they rotate daily. If you love South East asian desserts then this is the spot for your next afternoon tea. Peach was so welcoming and gave us the best introduction to all of their desserts. She told us the ingredients and shared stories about the sweets. Make sure to look at their menu to see which desserts they're serving for the day. Their Thai afternoon tea is only available on the weekends so book your seats in advance. Try to save the window seat for the best view and lighting! What's your go-to dessert? What's your favorite Asian dessert? I can eat mango sticky rice all day-everyday! Follow @whatsunique for food and travel tips! I grew up eating Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese desserts, so eating sweet sticky rice, coconut cream, and sweet beans always give me a nostalgic satisfaction.

FOOD [4/5] ----------- + Sticky Rice with Egg Custard [5/5] My only complaint is that we didn't order a second round of these! I think they're a little pricey for how small they are but they taste ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The rice is sweet and gooey and the egg custard is cooked very well. + Golden Bean [2/5] The golden beans are cold and have a sandy/crumbly texture, with a strong coconut flavor. They are unique, just not my preference for dessert. I didn't enjoy them nearly as much as the other dessert. SERVICE [5/5] -------------- Excellent service! Super friendly and attentive.
