If the workers on tonight's shift aren't happy working at Shake Shack, they can find another job. It wasn't busy but the service was slow. I stood at the counter for two minutes with no one asking me if I needed anything. It was quite awkward. There were workers walking around doing stuff but they tried hard not to make eye contact or offer to help. I just needed to pick up my order. I went to the pick up window instead as one employee helped the delivery people with their orders.Shake Shack corporate should retrain the staff here, or just do a clean sweep of every employee at the counter there tonight. I'm not expecting anyone to kiss my feet. It is common service and hospitality practice to ask if they can be helped when someone is queued up in front of the counter.Shake Shack is supposed to be a premium fast food brand. I get courteous service with a smile at Trader Joe's. It costs the employees nothing to be respectful towards customers.To management- you can do better. My interactions with two employees were underwhelming. They were rude and dismissive. You're my local Shake Shack and I love the food but I don't want to patronize a business where I don't feel welcomed by the staff. Please teach them to smile ?

I didn't think it was much different from Shake Shack burgers in Korea, but the meat was a little salty. Although the potatoes were dry, they were still delicious like any other fast food restaurant. I had the milkshake with added whipped cream and it was sweeter and more delicious.

I have ordered from this location multiple times. Never a problem with the food. However, the service and employee attitude are consistently bad. I would come in to pick up my order and you have employees just standing around and ignoring people who have just come in. Even after standing for a few minutes and asking to pick up, I do not get a response. I'm not even asking for the best service, just basic hospitality of acknowledging, rather than ignoring paying customers who come in for their food.

Shameful. The driver opened my bag, left it wide open at my front door and did not notify me upon his arrival. I ordered two shakes and there was only one straw in the bag. I was not born yesterday. I was following the tracker from the beginning so I noticed that the food was delivered to me. Your driver was in the middle of the hallway and when he saw me he started singing a song in another language and continued walking away. The food seemed cold but it arrived early, so why was it cold? I'm sure he took a sip of the shake and helped himself to a few things. The delivery image even shows the bag completely open. This will be the last time I order delivery from this restaurant. The shakes should have been sealed with plastic. If you are not interested in safeguarding the fast food industry, walk away and try another field. You shouldn't play with your customers' food! This is disgusting and shameful. I will never order from GrubHub or this shake shack again in my life. The driver should be ashamed of himself. I know he drank from one of my milkshakes. What if someone gets herpes or c19 from this? Are you ready to get sued because your unsanitary workers want to taste the food I PAID FOR? You're disgusting, @grubhub and shake shack on Rivington. This has everything to do with the Shake Shack staff b/c my food was easily accessible. Giving me 20$ coupon doesn't make things right. Secure the items and then seal the bag so that it's inaccessible to drivers. I don't want my delivery man eating my fries and sipping my Milkshake!

I’ll start off by saying I’m not big on burgers or even Shake Shack but I changed my mind after coming to this location and trying their Shack Stack.I worked in the Lower East Side for almost 2 years and although I saw this location I never went to try it while I was working.Last week, I came here around 8:30pm with 2 friends and order a ShackBurger, my friends each got the Shack Stack which comes with the mushroom burger stacked on a cheeseburger. It look pretty good so I tried and OMG!!! It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The mushroom was breaded and fried and added a desiring flavor to the burger. We also got regular fries and spicy cheese fries with ranch sauce.There was plenty of seating available and everything look cleaned. There wasn’t much of a line so we got our food pretty quickly so overall a great experience. They also served beer and wine.The Shack Stack was so good that I went back the next day to a different Shake Shack (Bryant Park Location) and ordered it. My friend still works in LES and she also went back to get it ?

In comparison to the other ‘turnt for no reason’ burger joints in the LES, Shake Shake feels SAFE and put together lol. At least the wall decor is thoughtful of the neighborhood.
